Always good to see you and your family Bjorn. I hope your in-laws are doing well. All the best.
26 degrees in the house?! That is hot!
In Vietnam we set the ac to 27😅
I go for 21-22°C, in summer I'm cooling to 24-25°C
@@achbergerphoto comfortable for anyone from a cold place
Lovely family ! Cheers 😊
Love seeing these vlogs! My wife and I are also due in the next couple weeks! Wishing you and your family all the best!
Bjørn, Glad to see your extended family came to visit. It has been awhile since we have seen your in-laws. I hope you get to visit them in Thailand this winter, as I enjoy your Thai videos, and would like an update about the development of the EV scene there. Best wishes to you and your family.
Talking already! I wonder how long before Isabel says "Shyeeeet" or "Buttplug" 😃
We just bought a Toyota Alphard hybrid and love it. It was no longer practical to take two EVs anytime the whole family (6) wanted to go anywhere. If toyota made an electric or phev alphard (and it was in our price range) we'd go for it.
The new Kia EV9 should have plenty of space for a big family. It looks great as well! Bjørn tested it a while ago.
@@alexandersaksvoll5373yeh that would be nice to have, but 3x the price of the Alphard we ended up getting
Nice to see your vlogs Bjorn. They are very entertaining since the rest of the videos are always the same ninja videos.
Toyota?! Isn't this a rebranded Peugeot/Citroen/Opel???, you know the stellantis platform
Using the Stellantis drivetrain and battery.
@@bjornnyland And fake 360° camera system :)
Built by Stellantis, same as Citroën Space Tourer, Fiat Ulysse, Peugeot Traveller, Opel Zafira Tourer, and others as Commercial Vans - just the badge is different; same with the Toyota ProAce City Verso which is made by Stellantis also as Citroën Berlingo, Opel Combo, and others. Really good cars, so it carries the Toyota badge for a reason.
The only thing Toyota has provided on this car is the badges.😅
The van is manufactured by Stallantis. The only thing from Toyota is the badge.
I have learnt so much about modern baby equipment from your videos ... much has changed 🤣
Great video and lovely family 😉😉😉 This Toyota would be awesome with my Megane E-Tech driving aids, camera, etc. It seems very useful 👏👏👏
Looks interesting.
That baby is so cute😊
I love your content Bjørn. One thought though: Dont you believe that showing of your kids in so many videos could have bad side effects for them in future?
Why?
@@bjornnylandI personally would be mad at my parents uploading so much content of me to the internet, from where it can never be deleted again... Other kids could be mobbing Isabel in school because of it... Kids can be cruel.
New house here also.. and also way to hot inside in the summer heat.. nordic houses are build to keep the heat in for winter time, but becomes like hot as hell in the sommer.. we caved and installed AC on the second year in our new house
Any schedule for BYD Seal awd range/1000km tests? Should decide to buy or not in 3 weeks. 😨
Not yet.
Go for it. It's a great car.
Der Anhänger ist kaputt... Yeah it was right 😂😂
Like - I am relly interested in the upcomming facelift. When you get to do the bananabox test, maybe you would test how easy it is to take out the back row seats.
You should check out solar control film. I had some fitted to my house to reduce overheating from the sun and it helped a lot.
its more expensive right than using blind
As I said in the video, I want zipscreens.
@@bjornnyland you want to keep the heat outside the window.. forget about reflective film on inside.. helps very little and also the reflection can cause the interior of the window to become to hot and cause damage on the window.. zipscreen outside keeps most of the heat out, but its often way more expensive than AC.. you likely need a combination of those two.. nordic houses dont shed heat that fast so when they get hot it takes forever to cool down.. tropic nights ;)
@@benedictuswinner3995 also I could not get a good guarantee of it... 5 years max.. for the same price as 3 AC units installed... that was to little (was on film on the outside of the windows)
Love to know how the Proace compares to the idBuzz. If you had a choice, which would you go for?
I saw that we can rent Citroen Berlingo EV in Sweden for 6 months, hope you can test that one,
Consumption of this beast is realy high in cold weather conditions. We got the brother from the same mother, E Zafira 75Kwh, I have the feeling that battery conditioning (i think it always runs below 8 degrees) and cabin heater sucks so much energy. Temperatures above 8-10 it becomes way better. Perhaps you can find out with your check Equipment.
Lovely of you to share your family in the review. ❤
"Let's f$$king go!"
When not being used by the family this 8-seater could be used to uber/shuttle people to/from places like the airport to make some extra cash, range permitting.
I got the same one but a diesel and medium length and love it for the family of 5 + dog. Did you get a chance to drive it on the highway and check the real world range? I'm looking to trade in, but not sure about the range on them.
150km with big battery, at least the van version. It's crap, hate it but forced through work to use it. 35-45kwh/100km at highway speeds
I would definitely consider one of these if only it had about double the range. Why does it have such a teeny weeny battery?
It's a 75 kWh battery. Just a little smaller than ID Buzz. It's not that small. That's what she said.
@@bjornnyland fnaar fnaar :-) Well, that's not so bad then - I was just going by the Toyota website that says 50kwh and 145mile wltp.
better insulation also means less need for airco
Exactly. I just need zipscreens.
Is it 50 or 75kWh pack sorry if you said i missed it. In uk only 50 available due to weight issues
75kWh
❤❤❤
Cute
Tps reports 😂
You don’t have cooling with your heat pump ?
No, that's just for heating (floor).
@@bjornnylandis that ground heat pump or air-water? If its ground than you can use cold ground source for cheats a/c. It will regenerate after winter.
Air-water
@@bjornnyland sometimes it’s reversible and you can cool it to 18 degres Celsius
Get some cheap blinds from ikea until next year
High consumption probably because of heating big car.
so Toyota now borrows EVs from Citroen 😂 The I Pace looks sleek 🎉
Using the Stellantis drivetrain and battery.
@@bjornnyland and info system the fake 360 is the same
I think eu forced stellantis to build vans for other Brands so they dont Get to much marketshare, part of the deal for merger between psa and fca
Toyota buy both the Peugeot Partner small delivery van, and this, the Peugeot Expert, from Stellantis, and have them put the Toyota badge on them. Toyota's own vans doesn't comply with Euro VI emissions, so they can't be sold in Europe.
@@danielstefanovic2604 No the rebadged Toyota ProAce ICE version was already made from July 2013, that's 7½ years before Stellantis was formed in January 2021. So, it has nothing to do with Stellantis' market share and the Stellantis merger. Until January 2012 Toyota sold their in-house made HiAce in Europe, but it was withdrawn from the European market as it could not be made to pass the Euro 5 emissions rules. Toyota then decided that it better to sign an OEM agreement with PSA and FIAT for the European market and sell a rebadged version of the Citroën Jumpy/Peugeot Expert/Fiat Scudo which is sold as the Toyota ProAce in Europe. It is made by an Italian automotive company Sevel S.p.A. which produces light commercial vehicles. Sevel was first established all the way back in 1978 by Fiat S.p.A. and PSA Group. When Fiat and PSA merged into Stellantis 43 years later, Sevel stayed as part of the group. Now they have just made an EV version too. But the ICE ProAce has been around much longer than Stellantis.
Rebadged Citroën ?
Using the Stellantis drivetrain and battery.
@@bjornnylandbuildt in the same factory too
Chose the badge you want. Citroen, Fiat, Opel, Peugeot or Toyota....
The Toyota mechanics here in Norway have a love/hate relationship with the ProAce, on one hand they hate working on them, on the other hand, they love having something else to do than regular services, which is the only thing a proper Toyota needs 😅
No wonder, since they are a French Peugeot, and not a Toyota 🤣
This opinion seems to be based on one man's comment during a family barbecue, but not the actual opinion of all the mechanics from Toyota... Unless you have proof they have that opinion, you should stop saying "They" as if you were talking on behalf of the Toyota company.
@AaronStarkLinux It's straight from Toyota mecanics I personally know. It's from individuals working on those cars, not the Toyota company.
@@AaronStarkLinux i used to be a toyota mechanic and if it wasn't for this car, i wouldn't make loads of money working overtime because there were so many piled up in our yard
@@tacosalaten3677 You used to be a Toyota mechanic, but you aren't anymore. So your opinion is just an opinion not based on real-time. Your time has passed, and maybe now they don't have the problem without you.
She likes cars and such no girly stuff. Turns around to follow the boy.
Thailand is melting right now.
I presume the fake 360 is not live, so seems kinda risky it could hide kids/dogs etc.
I’m glad hot stayed red and blue is cold everywhere I half expected Europe to be like nope yellow and green on climate controls

Hum. Isabel prefers a tractor to dolls. But she is addressed as the little princess. Doesn't compute.
You need to improve your computer power. She can still be a little princess and prefer tractors.
@@bjornnyland You are correct, both. Give her some tractor treatment sometimes. She may respond more positively. Our dad was a bear to catch and tickle us.
@@bjornnyland Not just any tractor, either, but a little grey Fergie, I think. You call it tractor royalty for a Little Princess.
