So I eat as much as I want and can't figure out why I'm not losing weight eating all those calories loaded healthy nuts. Why would we want to check the calorie intake of nuts. Or yeah whole wheat is good for you so what's a few peanut butter and jelly sandwiches throughout the day as snacks. Only 1450 calories for 3 pb and j sandwiches with a glass of milk.

      @JohnDoe-zz7on@JohnDoe-zz7on Жыл бұрын
    • @@JohnDoe-zz7on It's not the calorie intake itself that's the problem, it's the complete lack of exercise in combination with it. The worst part is, that once you've crossed a certain threshold (e.g. once your general fitness is so low that even just walking for more than 5 minutes becomes a chore), it becomes a self-accelerating downwards spiral.

  • I have been told that I must eating more but I was always adamant it was the drugs I was on. I calculated how much I was eating út was 500kcal per day which included one mint biscuits át night to regressziós my mouth which gets so dry with the meds. The dietician told me to stop the biscuit. While refucing the drugs i found I lost nearly half a stone with each 100g. I am very ill again just now but have managed to lose weight I gained from the last lot of meds I took for 2 years and I am doing less than I did when taking the tablets so painkillers, steroids, the pill etc can all affect weight. I tried to tell the doctors that everyone has different metabolic rates so drugs will obviously affect pple differently. They never believed me but I still stand by that statement. Doctors first words when u go to see them are usually what's wrong and when u tell them they don't listen and make up their own minds. Lately a referral was made for me by a dctr to orthotics saying I had flat feet which I had never said or even had. Turns out tho I do have one leg shorter than the other due to a muscle in my groin tightening. So I suppose something did come out of the referral and to ignore advise from podiatry, who, with awful insoles they gave me caused plantar fasiatis, added to my pain.

I've known lots of people that were really lazy and ate a tremendous amount of food and still never even got close that weight. These people in the 500 or even 400 lbs + category are working with a different biology/genetic make up than the rest of us. I don't think its there fault that they are so huge. Sure they could eat less and move more but do you honestly think a 1000+ lbs guy is going to trim right up to 200lbs? I doubt he could ever get that low unless he had medical/chemical intervention.

    • @@papillondogs4297 Umm you do realize that he is a world-renowned comedian who is famous for this type of humour? And also for his love or animals and activism against animal cruelty? And again, he immediately said what he really thinks of Sir David Attenborough. Personally I think it is a sign of fragility when societies start censoring comedians even if I also think some subjects are taboo. But here’s a useful tip; if you don’t like his humour, don’t watch him.
