Making a mallet with good grip, coolness is always basic!
This is a mallet designed with inspiration from the grip of a table tennis racket, a sport I love and have enjoyed for a long time.
This is great for delicate work as it allows for a deep grip and control of the blow with the thumb and forefinger.
The head uses red oak, the grip uses Brazilian snakewood and hard maple, and the base board is 9mm birch plywood.

That is a genius design and gorgeous color! I really enjoyed watching this video. I love how clean and precise you are. Incredible job!!
Just gave me an idea for using my old table tennis paddle. Thanks
That is a stunning mallet. Just have to have people over to the shop to watch you actually use something so beautiful.
That deserves to have your name on it. Beautifully done with full form & function, love the contrasts and shape! Thank you for sharing your fine work!
Thank you. I really love the use of snakewood.
Wow! Good work ! Beautiful mallet - if I did one like this one, I don't think I would dare to use it and it would end up on my living room shelf 😉👍
Your craftsmanship is amazing!
I subscribed after seeing this and this is the second time I watched it, Well Done!
That’s bigger than Thor’s hammer. Beautiful choice of wood very well crafted will you be putting you logo on it.
The original has many elements. Ultra nice!
Waouh ! So nice
Uaaauuuuu... Que macete TOP!!! 👏🏼👏🏼😉👍🏼🇧🇷
Very nice. I put leather on the ends of my wooden mallets. Seems to make a nice difference.
The big brother of a table tennis pad 😁
Beautifully made 👍
Great absolut Perfekt 👌 😀👍👍
Wow very beautiful sir
Great woork
Show belo macete 💯💯💯
Can't get over that plywood center you used. Why did you choose it?
It's part of the design. There is nothing special to explain.
I can't get over the fact he used freakin Plywood in the middle.
Pekna a precizna praca klobuk dole pre tvojou zrucnostou

verry good
💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪 Best regards, Lothar
Excellent work. This is a piece of Art. What are the woods you have used. I see plywood and snakewood. Is the mallet head made of Oak?
thank you you're right. The head is red oak. The center of the handle is maple.
CarpenAWESOME
💯👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
👍👍👍👍
I use Auro 126 hard oil.
Do you have a PDF of the plywood shape?
I don't have a PDF file of it.
Looks like a table tennis racket.
you're right. I like table tennis, so I got the idea from there.
Bro how long u been doing wood work??? U r so good bro.
I've been doing architectural carpentry as a job for a long time, and I've been making furniture and props for about 10 years now. thank you.
@@carpentak how is ur cnc working bro. Is it good??? How is it cost bro
Mine is not a cnc, just a laser engraver. It's not cnc working. Mine is older and costs around $400. Use conveniently.
@@carpentak ty bro

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
No me convence.
It's plywood, not mdf.
02:26 *yeah* - looks exactly like a table tennis rack. Let *Kim Taek-Soo* play with it _[although.. he's penholder]_ .
yes that's right I love table tennis and have been playing for a long time. I made this by modeling my table tennis racket. The table tennis racket moves comfortably in my hand. You know Taek-Soo Kim haha, I don't know if you know but I like Sae-Hyeok Joo. He is a defensive player.
@@carpentak I don't know Sae-Hyeok Joo, but I'll look him up ;-) I know Kim from the 80ies when I played table tennis. Your work is outstanding, keep it up. ps: just saw him on YT. Holy cow! He's attacking his opponent whenever it's necessary, on the same level. I think the classical defenders, where switching to attack mode often looked like a helpless act, are gone for good. He's one hell of a player.
