  • I had a house....my first house. It was from the 1910's and moved out in the middle of nowhere south Texas long before I got it. Anyways, it had a long, long hallway where I hung many pictures I'd purchased at cheap antique shops and estate sales of Great War soldiers un named. I used to wonder their fates. Did they make it through alive ? Intact ? Physically, mentally ? I didn't know. I, nor probably anyone for tens of years probably even remembered their names. I would talk to them now and then. Perhaps just a friendly acknowledgement... It was many, many years later, that I met Eric Bogel. A musician who wrote Green Fields of France. And there I heard about young Willie McBride 😪..

You might have to use your pocket knife as a utinsel. If you happened to get a little dirt blown into your meal you just ate it. If a bug got in it you picked him out and went back to eating.

The story, the acting in the style of using handheld cameras, much like the Blair witch project really worked here. I gave the sense of reality as if you were living it with the characters. I give it nine out of 10 . Bravo !

First job of a reporter is to verify it's source.
