Yeah should start with a small drill first!….but they get the job done
I am amazed watching how these men make something with ease. Great jobs guys.
😅😅😊😊😊😊
Ease? If you paid attention you’d of seen it took two days to build the part and they had to melt down a defective attempt for material, meaning a loss of two days wage.
My heart goes out to these brave souls who does this every day for the little wages they make they deserve safety gear and fresh showers we do not understand what hard work and sacrifice it takes to do this to survive
No, YOU'RE just spoiled rotten with vacations, holidays, and pandering.
16:23 😢👌🫣🫡
These guys all WORK so amazing together! And hard, very hard workers. No gloves, no shoes, no complaining! No safety, except 1 shield to keep someone from getting hit by a huge spinning prop! (wonder how many got hit before they installed that safety screen)
This is the situation in most small businesses in south Asia.
What many don't realize is that long ago that craftsmen knew the safety hazards of their work; yet they were skilled at not being seriously injured. For example using a hammer and chisel; then one were skilled at using them without hitting the hand now chisels come with safety features so then that skill is lost to the modern craftsmen. Remember accidents will still happen despite all the safety equipment because it lures the worker into a false sense of security. I am not saying not to wear safety gear since it's available. However in situations where it's difficult to be safe then the next best is to be careful
it's very well said .
Весь Ручной труд но этот труд конечно мало оплачиваемый капиталисты богатеют
Thats why the result is garbage lmfao
هذا هو النوع من الفيديوهات التي يجب مشاهدتها و احترام العاملين في هذا الميدان ما شاء الله بالتوفيق تحية كبيرة لهؤلاء العمال و الصناع👍👍👍

How these guys still have any toes is amazing
When they lose one it'll re-grow like frogs. Those guys are a new sub-species when it comes to accidents. Did you see the OHSA foot wear, respirators, safety goggles, gloves, fire-proof clothing and all the rest of PPE's? Come on give them a break!🤣🤣🤣
Excellent skills and workmanship. You all are a wonderful team anybody can trust for this kind of serious industrial tool. GOD BLESS ALL of you!

As shitty as it is to see people work in these conditions one still to admire the ingenuity it’s takes to hand make large parts like that.
This is the first time seeing a guard on a lathe. This means that someone walked into that spinning prop. But, good job with worn out tooling, and basic sand casting.
Yeh, bet that hurt!
yes but only one side then he stands on the bad side while the prop was turning.

Pakistani masters of skilful workmanship... a wonderful outcome without proper tools and gadgets ....
Good thing they're wearing their safety feet, safety hands, safety eyes and safety mouths. If they keep it up I'm sure they'll be able to smash yesterday's 3-1/2 hour no injuries record.
See that part at around the 16 min mark? Some molten metal spills and they jump back because it's burning their unprotected feet. If that person had been in charge of a delicate operation, they would have lost control of the machinery and caused an even bigger incident. Straight up clowns in a circus here.

I am deeply moved by the incredible craftsmanship showcased in this video. The dedication and skill of the workers are truly commendable. However, it also saddens me to witness the absence of essential safety equipment during such hazardous tasks. As a proud representative of a safety gloves company in Pakistan, I understand the critical role protective gear plays in ensuring the well-being of workers. Ensuring the safety of workers should be a top priority in any industry. I believe that with the right protective equipment, the artisans in this video could not only enhance their safety but also further improve the quality and efficiency of their work. Let's all work towards creating a workplace culture where every worker, regardless of their craft, can perform their duties with the utmost safety and protection. It's a small investment that yields immeasurable returns in terms of human well-being. Stay safe, everyone! 🌐🧤

Beyond everything else like safety, there is on important matter that is totaly ignored - the quality of such a casting method.
This is where all our old unused equipment ends up. I'm no machinist but even I could see the flex in that drill and boring bar. Amazing though how much they do accomplish. Coming soon to a pirate craft near you.
These guys are some brave souls, BARE FEET, no masks they don’t even have electric winches, all the chain falls are manual. They moved it to the machine area with a little beast of burden lol 😂 this is really stunning to watch. Not sure I would trust that prop shaft centering though. Watching the pilot bore flexing around was a bit scary and checking it with a tape measure, but you can see it wasn’t their first rodeo so Cudos to those men. Amazing to watch something that would be done with state of the art equipment here in America being done with technology from centuries ago basically. FASCINATING AND SUREAL. OSHA who lol 😂
16:24 Fine example of why it's *Monumentally Moronic* to have exposed feet around molten metal. At least when you're dealing with pouring the metal wear proper protective gear. Like they did *after* they poured it. Impressive process all the same.

Where were they do this job( I mean in which country?)?
I hope the hole he drilled on the "lathe" is not for mounting the prop on the shaft.
It wasn't the drilling I was concerned with it was the boring bar was not rigid in the tool holder, plus the tool holder had so much play on the bed way, the boring bar just wobbled through the taper hole. When they broached the dam key way it was also not secure. Amazing.
The hole will have to be bored out and tapered to fit the shaft . This is just a pilot hole.
@@kennethmcconkey711that can't be a pilot hole if it's already broached.
