@@DeborahGee The clips were very targeted misquotes, for example the video of him saying he was proud Trump likes him. What he said immediately after saying Trump likes him in the original video, which most other news channels who reviewed it aired which CNN did not. He overtly stated basically the same reason he gave immediately after that. He doesn’t want to incite animosity and polarize people more. He also stated many times he doesn’t like most things Trump did as well, they were trying very hard to push that he is supporting Trump.
That's very true. He said that in some ways he is more dangerous than Trump. He even described what he meant by that if anyone would be bothered to go beyond their twisted title manipulations and listen.

CNN came off looking like jackasses from this interview. RFK Jr was polite and thoughtful in everything he talked about. He seemed respectful and showed class. Whoever the woman is that is interviewing was staring down her nose at him the entire interview. Interviewer came off as spiteful and obnoxious. I have never voted in a US election. I don't like the politics. I'm considering voting for the first time just because of Kennedy. I like the dude and the fact that both parties don't like him means he's doing something right.
I actually think she likes him more than she's allowed to show. She was only allowed to have him on if she played this role. CNN has its games and its candidate, so she had to play along.
This won’t be my first time voting, but the media always does this same thing to every candidate I like. Ron Paul, Bernie, Yang, and now Kennedy (would have been Perot to if I was old enough). Neither party likes anyone who doesn’t play their games and work for corporate interests, and the media will never accurately represent them if they even give them any coverage at all. Of everyone I’ve liked in the past (some are very different from others), Kennedy is the best so far and it shows in his support.
I hope many think like you, and all the non voters all the first time voters whom otherwise would not vote for either of the other two candidates … all of the independents and pretty much every person in this country disillusioned with the state of our politics … we all show up in masses to prove the polls wrong and make this man our president. Finally! RFK gets this platform. Unfortunately the interviewer was horrific. She went low, passive-aggressive, flat out aggressive and terribly personal. Shame on her. CNN, bring him back throughout and do better.
You could see her softening as it went on. He's too smart, too charismatic. Her heart wasn't in it by the end, it must be exhausting having to spin the constant lies, especially when the man is sitting right in front of her. I think he did great.

RFK is such a good man. He said in another interview, “my entire life is a trauma….” It was pretty heartbreaking but so relatable in this human experience.
Poor journalism. Burnett didn't ask about his policies or the solutions he offers. Instead questions were about: how he's going to get on ballots (who cares? that's admin, let him go through the democratic process), some members of his family not agreeing with his candidacy (again, who cares?), Vp pick's money, is he just a spoiler? (implying he was), who's more of a threat to democracy, Trump or Biden. If you interview a candidate, ask him about why he's a candidate and what he wants to do if we elect him!
Wow, subtle attempt to pin him to Trump. Stevie Wonder could see that one. There is not one honest media outlet going. They are all as biased and as bad as they say Fox is.
It was an excellent interview. It served its purpuse of trying to mitigate the chances of RFK ever becoming a real candidate, and gave him very limited opportunity to explain his vision. Thats what you can expect from these kinds of media outlets.
People should care about what his family thinks. It says very much about a persons character (not everything) if their family says they are a fruitcake. Couple that with what people have heard him say and they understand he is not mentally well. To colloquialize it, if he was IHOP, his brain would be a short stack.
I'm quite certain that their questions were selected very carefully. Is it poor journalism - absolutely! Is it somewhat subtle propaganda to have him on and ask only questions with a certain slant. The only thing that backfired on them was the implication that Trump was a bigger threat to democracy than Biden and having him disagree. I'm sure it was anticipated that at some point that the man would go along to get along. They're not used to interviewing people with the courage of their convictions.

well, I'm sorry, there was a lot of hypocrisy drama and hyperbole in his rhetoric and there were also some wild inaccuracies. Let's just start with his saying we shouldn't demonize people and then he proceed to demonize Biden beyond all measure and beyond all fairness. FIne, if you don't like Biden, criticize him all you want, fair enough, but suggesting he's the biggest threat to democracy is hyperbole and patently ridiculous and silly. I would point out that trying to overturn an election, as Trump tried to do, is the single greatest threat to our democracy that I've experienced in my lifetime. Some of RFK JR's claims contain an incredible amount of spin. I also don't appreciate his back-peddling and stumbling as he does to mansplain away anti-vaxx statements that I heard with my own ears in past. Seen with my own eyes. The hyperbole undermined RFK JR's credibility as did his VP pick. The amount of his mansplaining he did was stunning.
