Releasing an already released movie is so Tenet
So true LOL
You spelt Tenet backwards..
Would be cool if this version was from Pattisons perspective
@@happzy Yeah tooo cool. The problem its big budget. This movie has fans but very few audience, the reason people are too dumb want spoonfeed plots.
What you talking about . It just came out
Already saw the re-release, can't wait for the trailer!
Woah 😅
@@marcus2fashion perfect comment!
nice one
On spot! 😅
you had me chuckled.
They're not actually screening the movie, they're putting you into the turnstile and sending you back to 2020 when the film releases
Me coming out of box office with covid in 2024
@@yogavz That's how Covid started. From vaccinated people who went back in time 🤧
@@anonymator is covid part of world war three?
Still wondering when I will watch dunkirk .. and and then it's trailer
This is by far Nolan's most underrated film to date. This film ages so well with time.
This is the real release date. Going to the cinema will take you back to 2020.
lmao 🤣
A terrible fate.
I'll bring my mask then
hahaha
I love this movie
Can't wait to see Tenet Again for the first time.
Can't wait to struggle to hear Tenet again for the first time
You're not watching Tenet... You're catching it.
that's a top comment right there
probably why they are re-releasing @@royalblue5367
Sounds like it is going to be for the first time again, because it sounds like you can actually hear what people are saying in this version.
took me months to realize that "tenet" is referring to the final mission (ten forward and backward, referring to the regular and inverted team's synchronized ten-minute timers)
Is it the final or the first mission lol
This explanation is just as confusing as the movie
@@SOCOMOMEGAit's the final first mission
It’s also referring to the codeword that the protagonist is given. It’s also a reference to the fact that the difference between the protagonist and the antagonist is that the protagonist has belief (a tenet) in a world outside of himself.
took me a while to realize they happened at the same time with the Protag in different “versions” going fwd/back. 😅
Tenet was absolutely amazing, the opening sequence alone was so epic, I remember watching it in cinemas back during the Covid-19 pandemic, happy more people will get the chance to watch it who missed it back then.
The opening opera scene in itself deserves a second watch in 70mm
But it’s not showing in every IMAX theater which sucks
@@rooman_zahid10 Definitely sucks, but at least those in the areas where it's playing in 15/70 will for sure be out to support it, and hopefully the film technicians called out for this gig + Dune Part 2 will appreciate the drive it's sustaining for the format after Oppenheimer
One of the best movie openings ever
True
@@rooman_zahid10 I think it is
For those who didn't get to experience it in imax theaters the first time, you're in for a treat. I was blown away. That Ludwig score with those 808s!
The way the bass hits the seats ! Perfection!
well worth staying back to watch the credits
Watched it in IMAX, not worth it.
did you see it in 70mm or nah@@eliascrooker7773
what do you mean first time, This is the first time. Last time was the next time 🤦♂
I will never forget seeing this film in 2020 in IMAX. I will definitely be going back to the theater to experience this incredible film again.
That last shot still gets me to this day
Why? Seriously curious.
@@VariTimo It's a perfect summation of all the concepts of the film distilled into one shot. Andrew Jackson gave an interview explaining how they pulled it off, and why it was the biggest VFX/practical effect in the entire film.
IMO the movie was and still is, a waste of everything.
@@HEAVYHEARTSMUSIC Oh you mean the trailer. Sorry, thought you meant the movie.
same here my bro , still wondering how they made it ? that one shot
One of the most overlooked masterpieces of Nolan. This movie is one of my all time favourites. It'll be appreciated a lot in the future, remember.
Yeah it will be one of those that pops up on tik tok and youtube, forgotten masterpiece or something. i have a weird obsession with this film
nah mate most of the world aint gonna put the effort to understand this film😭😭😭😂
It's mid, not that deep.
Bro just discovered Nolan's works. 😂
@@neondemon5137 mid for your tiny brain
First new release during covid, thats the only thing that hurt this film. Its a masterpiece.
That and the sound mixing.
underrated masterpiece, it seems complex but isnt it just makes you feel as it was, it has a simple premise but plays with it so damn well.
@@Maidez09 yeah film is so good but i sat in cinema, "what? who? i cant hear you!"
@@Maidez09 Why was the sound mixing in Tenet so bad?
@@Maidez09The muddy sound is deliberate. Nolan's dialogue is rarely critical to understanding the movie.
This is not the trailer we deserve. It's the trailer we deserved. It's also the trailer we need as some of us might watch it 4 years ago.
I saw this masterpiece in 2020 in one of the few counties of my state allowed to open a movie theater. It's worth seeing in IMAX. Even if you've seen it on streaming.
its not really.
Agreed. Saw it on streaming once and already loved it, but I saw it in the cinema on 70mm last night and it was AMAZING. Nolan's movie are meant for the cinema.
@@purefoldnz3070Even disregarding the narrative experience, the visual experience is a _treat_ on 1570. Not only is everything sharper on the scenes shot with that film, the film takes full advantage of the full IMAX frame every time it’s used. We need more action movies shot with 1570.
I freaking love this movie, wish it got the sequel prequel it deserved
What lǝnbǝɹd sequel
Nolan probably envisions Tenet as a standalone film. I doubt he would ever concieve or greenlight a direct sequel or prequel
@@nikkoXmercado the way the story ends leaves for possibility of more story to be told but since time move backwards in that movie the second movie would be both a sequel and a prequel
Technically Tenet is its own sequel.
Tenet is a constant sequel
Own in on 4K Blu Ray and watch it regularly. Just saw it in 70mm. Tempted to go back out and see it in IMAX. Can't get enough of this masterpiece
I was lucky enough to have watched TENET re-release on IMAX 70mm. Truly a magnificent experience. Worth every penny. Thanks Sir Nolan.
I love this movie. The directing, the film editing, the cinematography, everything 💜
An absolute underrated masterpiece😀
what's it about?
No one knows, the movie is impossible to understand
Yep, except for the nonsensical plot, inconsistent in-universe rules, and godawful sound mixing right?
I remember watching this movie on streaming service, what a good 'ol days... But after seeing the Trailer I can't wait to see it in the theater!
I had the luck to see it yesterday on 70mm because my local cinema has a Nolan special going on right now. Only saw it once on my TV before. And boy howdy was it amazing to see it on the big screen, the vibes are impeccable. Highly recommend. (Just don't try to make sense of it too hard, let the flow sweep you away and enjoy the ride.)
If they re-mix the sound and dialogue for this release, it’ll definitely be a must watch in IMAX for me
I went to the comments for this lol. I couldn’t understand half the movie due to the audio mixing
They won't remix the sound. This is how Nolan wants it to be apparently. DRAMATIC EFFECT > COMPREHENSION, it seems.
@@omariyer pretentious garbage

One of the most underrated work of Nolan❤️🔥
We highly demand "Interstellar" to be re-release!!

That Peloton instructor really got to him...
😂
We are going back to see TENET in theaters in 2020
COVID did this masterpiece dirty. Would love to see this IMAX if it comes up near me. OST and Background Score of the film takes this to a whole another level in theatres.
The scene with the 747 was insane. I just love how Nolan used an actual plane.
Thank you !! I’ve seen this film 15 times. It gets better each time!! I’m praying it’s at the theatre near me!! Woohoo!!
We live in a twilight world!!
Now that I've re-watched it with subtitles I would love to see it in theaters. Great movie!
Love this. But I desperately wish they remastered the sound balancing. In theaters it was turned up so high to hear the dialogue, but bullets were painfully loud…
I can't wait to not understand it again but in IMAX
😂
Saw this with my buddy a week after it opened and we were literally the only ones in the theater. I remember being able to talk out the plot with him at full volume. It was a crazy experience having a theater all to yourself for a Christopher Nolan film.
Tenet is an incredible movie experience. Especially in IMAX.
Amazing blockbuster. Can't wait to see it again. Nolan is the genius!
thank you. I needed a second chance. One of my favorites and I missed it in theaters.
This is my favorite movie of all time I have seen it around 6-7 times already, I love the score, I am going to drive almost 3 hours to the nearest IMAX theater to see it the way it was meant to be seen, or else I know I will regret it because of how much I love this movie
i still remember my first viewing vividly, getting stunned by the first opera scene
Definitely gonna see it again. Hopefully this is the year Nolan wins his well deserved Oscar too!!
I love TENET, would watch it again if it comes out here!
loved the re-release waiting for the release
This movie was way ahead of its time in 2020. Excited to watch in IMAX.
Atleast I get to watch it on IMAX 😮❤
I watched this movie back in 2020 in actual theaters, in IMAX and Dolby. My theater had the spacing between seats back then for social distancing, but didn't have many people since it wasn't a big city theater anyway. But yes, it was open regardless. I really hoped they extend the re-release a bit longer, since most people probably didn't watch this movie in theaters due to the lockdown and theaters being closed.
Just saw it in imax 70mm and it was spectacular
Truely One of the greatest movie delivered by Nolan❤
this whole operation is a temporal pincer ♥
Thankful! One of the best movies ever made
Can't wait for it to see in big screens and I hope they will do a re release after 3 years
Let’s GOOOOOO 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can’t wait to see it again. Loved hearing nothing but soundtrack and no dialogue. It’s like a silent movie.
YES YES YES!!! More IMAX 70mm Re-Releases please!!
I'll watch it again in theaters... My home theater didn't do it justice the first time.
Guys trust me and watch this movie. This will be one of the movies you'll watch in your entire life.
I sure hope they found a way to make the dialogue understandable in the film
Yup, I just commented on that. I gave up half way through and turned it off.
Christopher Nolan made it like that on purpose. It's supposed to be unintelligible or hard to understand their dialogue because he wants the film to be more immersive and engaging. It also requires multiple rewatches to understand Tenet. You have to ultimately understand and grasp the concept of time inversion to fully comprehend it.
I would love to watch again in imax 😊
cant wait to watch it in theatres!
This movie shouldve been the first to be released under the "same day premieres" tag on cinemas and streaming simoltinously back then, even if Nolan didn't want to. Or at least it shouldve been delayed a year and a half to hit it big at the big office. Nolan is a good director and knows what he's doing (noone is perfect) in every production he does, the pandemic was guilty of the movie's performance when it was released.
may be they should have released like top gun maverick. like in 2023
Nolan sees streaming as cancer. It would never have occurred. It's even in his current contracts. There is a reason it took forever for Oppenheimer to enter the streaming market.
An absolute underrated masterpiece
.teneT devol I .sretaeht ni siht ees dluoc I hsiw I wish I could see this in theaters. I loved Tenet.
Saw the movie at BFI IMAX on 70mm the past weekend. What an experience it was 🤯

Oppenheimer this week and Tenet next month, both in the IMAX. Thanks for the late Christmas present!
You mean early christmas right? I mean 2023 dec.
Re-Release INTERSTELLAR in IMAX!
I honestly think Tenet is Nolan's Magnum Opus. The idea and execution of the film is just so amazing to me. I might finally watch an IMAX film for the first time just for this.
ITS WORTH WATCHING IT 👀 AGAIN ❤❤
The one Nolan film that didn't land for me. The inaudible audio in various scenes was a bummer. But I love big movies getting rereleased. More of that please
It definitely deserves a re-release. Too underrated
I saw this for the first time and it immediately jumped into my top 3 Nolan films, so much so i watched it again the next day The Plan by Travis Scott blaring in the speakers when the end credits roll >>>
