im new to pc and got a 144hz now that blew my mind the smoothness of it so i can only imagine 360hz
Its diminishing returns really. The jump from 60-> 75 is huge 75-> 120 or 144 is huge and then 144-> 240 not so much, 240-> 360 almost minimal
As Matt said it's not much of a difference compared to 60-144fps

I went from 60hz to 165hz two weeks ago and I just don't notice it, but back when youtube went from 30 fps to 60 fps I felt it straight away.

Higher framerate also helps reduce latency, screen tearing, and provides a smoother image that makes it easier to identify targets. Casual gamers probably wont benefit too much, but highly competitive gamers will probably notice

That latency tool is so sick. If you ever plan on testing some other games can you try Reflex Arena or Diabotical, with multi-threaded input enabled, please?
so the 360 hz refresh rate does not make a reasonable difference over a monitor with 240 hz and all the other features being the same, no? so 1440p 240hz is the goal to aim at then. or 4k 144hz?
99% percent of the population can't take advantage of the reduced input latency or notice a difference. If you're shit this monitor won't help either way. But for the 1% of the top end in competitive gaming it's great.
I dunno man there's so many games that won't run anywhere near 240 let alone 360. I guess you could say it comes down to use cases. If you're sitting at a desk using a regular sized monitor it probably doesn't need to be 4k and if you're not playing twitch shooters it probably doesn't need to be 360hz or even 240hz in a lot of cases. And if you're average at best at shooters anything above 120hz probably isn't going to make any meaningful difference to anything other than your wallet.

That pixel thing could be flawed for MW2019 - the .357, Uzi, and lmgs all have intential trigger delay
so dont use those when testing
watching this video on the exact same monitor. went from 60hz to 360hz and damn dude.. I probably spend the first 2 hours after receiving it just moving the cursor around the screen. very smooth screen indeed.

Shooters have stagnated so much, I'm barely playing one every other year. I bought my monitor for color and contrast. I do wonder how these high refresh monitors feel, though.
