The Most Powerful Heavy Duty Machines: Bending Roller Machine Rolls 140mm Thick Plate; 17.000 Tonnes
0:01. Breman machinery - Karst Wensink
This plate rolling mill factory is located in Purmerend, Netherlands. The factory can roll and bend heavy materials with extreme precision. The factory has one of the heaviest angle bending machines in Europe with a bending capacity of 3000 tonnes x 8000 mm. The factory can bend a 100 mm plate to the desired form without difficulty. This video shows heavy Hauesler 3-roll plate bending roller muscle machine. This roller is able to distort heavy plate material hot and cold, for example, it can cold roll S355J2+N, 140 mm thick, 4 metres wide
03:08. The Dishing Machine - Vlad Adrian
This video is about forming of a hemispherical industrial steel head by dishing & flanging processes. This machine can make flexibility, high productivity & quality of the end product. It can form heads of any shape, be it flat, conical, standard, torispherical, semielliptical, or ellipsoidal. Material thicknesses range from 5 to 60 mm in the cold condition and up to 80 mm in the hot condition. diameters range from less than 1m up to more than 8m. The dishing and flanging occurs in two sequential operations that each require specific machinery: the dishing of the blank and the forming of the plate edge
05:13. Nieland Shipbuilding Presses
The cold forming of a saddle shaped panel on a Nieland shipbuilding press. The universal shipbuilding press with 3 functions in one Nieland's shipbuilding presses of the SBP series are extremely well outfitted for the production of so called "double curved hull panels". Double curved hull panels form about 15-18 % of an average ship's hull. SBP portal presses are the most common type of Nieland shipbuilding presses.
09:54. Doosan's factory
This is forging press machine. Pressure is delivered to metal about 1.700 ton

Amazing equipment...hats off to the guy or guys that put it on paper and made it possible! They are mesmerizing to watch. The enormity of them😳😳
Just got mines installed today. It works like a charm!
Most impressive machinery, but even more impressive is the hands-on craftsmanship and knowledge it still takes to do the work.
That is insane and awesome engineering, incredible
Que buen video es impresionante el ralado de las placas en espesores gruesos felicidades
You got to love it shipfitter for 28 yrs, made in the u.s.a.!!!
Yeah that's done in Germany
Finally,a big enough bowl for my Cheerios
Always astonished by the variety and functionality of machinery.

This is beautiful

How many recordings?
I dont understand why some people dislike such a beautiful video.
Saludos sorprenden esta Roladora este tipo de maquinarias saludos👍👍🏻
Fantastic Technology!
Wow! Amazing machine
wonderful work ❤

Oh, boy! Ancient organic transitions _AND_ a shaky camera! Thanks!
The real GENIUS is the person who designed the machines ....

Impressive machines ! ⚙
Previously, many years ago. My job was to roll up large vessels for petrochemical industry. My rollers were not quite as large but not far behind. Enjoyed it immensely 👍👍👍
Interesting!

Oi
Outro vídeo que eu poderia curtir vendo as imagens. Mas eu gostaria muito que fosse só as imagens, com os ruídos naturais das máquinas e das pessoas trabalhando.
Idk why I watch these things but they sure as heck are entertaining.
I think it's so amazing how they can bend metal that thick.
Amazing ...
Amazing mesin 👍👍👍
5:12 ...... whatever this guy is paid, it's not enough... this a work of art... kudos!
That’s a hell of a wok
Those that understand the process - completely appreciate the artwork.
Good job from Philippines
Perfect 👍
👍Thanks
I have seen heavy duty metal working machines but this takes the cake. Lets have a birthday party for this monster for sure. VF
i am a cnc operator but love this one
Power!!!!!
awesome machines enjoyed watching, am wondering who invented these machines
This is what teenagers should be inspired to be and do..this so so cool.
Inspired to be heavy duty machines?
Currently in school for millwright. This is why, paid big bucks to have fun.

Anyone know what the cost for bending this might be?
Checkout the historic dockyard Chatham. They have heavy rollers .steam powered stamps all outside on display.

Superb
How do you make the machines that make the machines???
Amazing video

I want to watch them make that 1st one straight again.

I had witnessed hot rolling of 150 mm plates total 10 nos
Very nice good work
Super
Yeah
I dropped one of those on my foot once at that same factory in this video. Surprised no broken bones only purple toes and a ruined steel toe boot.
They are Cold pressing. What about the stress induced in it.
Wow 😲 super
The thumbnail got me thinking someone is going to deep fry 2 builders.
Can anyone tell us *WHERE* these awesome machines are? These are great videos. These machines are the foundation of heavy industrial capability.
It says in the top left at the start
D.Cypher..I worked in an Engineering Factory in 1991,in Blyth Northumberland,England,UK,and we used these Roller Bending machines then, and the one where I worked, had been there Donkey's years, when Blyth was a massive Shipbuilding and Mining Community. NOT Computer controlled in those days...PURE SKILL by the Platers,[a Shipbuilding and Engineering Trade] It was Amazing to watch even just 20 feet long x 8 feet wide x 1/2 " thick Stainless Steel Plates being lifted by Gantry Crane, moved into the rollers, and watch the skill of the Operator move the plate backwards and forwards ,through the rollers, while making sure the pressure applied to each side, was what the Engineering Drawings dictated!!...More pressure at one side than the other, caused the Plate to twist out of the Horizontal Plane, like a section of a Helter Skelter!!...this was sometimes done deliberately to create compound bends for that Application. The Plater couldn't afford to make any Cock-ups with Plates that size, plus the Expense and time involved in turning the Plate over and straightening it out to start again!! Next time you pass an Oil Refinery,or see a lovely Ship...spare a moment's admiration for these guys, who,in the old days, like Lads I worked with, never went to University..these trades ,like Coalmining [which I was for 30 years],were passed down Father to Son,Tradesman to Apprentice..Schooling,YES,what we in Britain used to call ..."Day Release"...i.e. ONE DAY EACH WEEK AT SCHOOL!!..Hands on the rest of the week!...Cheers!..Bill in Beautiful Northumbria in the UK.
@@highpitwilma that's a great reply, i didn't have time during your posting to reply... *thank you kindly for sharing this story, i was trained as a manual machinist, and a cnc machinist. I certainly have reverent respect for the old ways, as, some things until recently couldn't be replicated with computer control.* There is still a vast amount of room for hands on knowledge, technique, and human skills. Be well, ☀️😎☀️🇺🇸
safety first !
Best
So, what will be created from these steel manipulations??
Imagine messing up on bending one of those 🤣 how would you even hide that mess is there a scrap bin 😂👌🏼
Haaaaa ha ha yep big problem cutting it up into little bits

kool video goofy music
no need to scrap, just call it modern art and put it up in town as a statue XD
Turn it over and us the machine to unbend it start over, fire the bender man!
Interesting
Thanks!
Thats how they roll 😎
Yeah
I’ve seen 3” thick pressure vessels and it’s crazy to think of how it’s made.

For all to know this gents here are all mechanical engineers ! Not just workers
Keep the camera still so we can see what the dishing machine does!!
