keep the merc,replace the steering wheel and the rear sunshade, sand the rust and add a new paint job, add 2012-2013 Mercedes s-class wheels, restore the engine and keep it as a daily driver for when you go to look for cars for a video, it will make the 1 to 2 hour long drives way, waayyy more comfy.

I love that even though this is one of the biggest car channels on youtube the hosts of the videos arent driving around in super cars like most other folk on youtube. They used an old clunker to travel to pick up another old clunker. Love it.

2:39 LS 400's are awesome. Super expensive to maintain and only take premium fuel but its one of the most comfortable cars I've ever rode in. Leather everything and more legroom than most modern suvs

@@youxkio Uses to much fuel to be a cab you wouldn't make any money, my Father uses E class diesel estate cars as luxury cabs for his airport and theatre runs (he's semi retired now and doesn't work off the rank any more), customers don't care what engine the cab has and he averages over 60mpg. He put a crap ton of miles on them over a couple of years then part ex's for a newer one.

I paid £3800 for my E55 AMG, it one owner with a full dealer history but seriously high mileage (240,000 now) and has rusty doors, drives lovely though, not sure you could go faster for less money without mods. :)

There are companies that sort that sticky plastic out and they're absolutely amazing. Considering that the leather is absolutely immaculate, if you sort out the rust, clear the foggy headlights, and sort out the plastic, you'll make a good profit. It'll immediately be worth a lot more. The air suspension incredibly isn't knackered! Amazing.
Literally just done this myself - the gold LS400 was on the list when I was looking. I got the cheapest LS430 on Autotrader on Saturday 07/09/19 - literally the same weekend this was filmed

Old BMWs tend to hold up not too bad, but rust like a fucker... My Father is Vorkutan... North of Siberia. To be honest the fuel will probably freeze along with oils of transmission and diff... Well before even being able to start it.
