  • Ahhhhh, those 45's just make me warm all over. But seriously turning a sphere is beautiful in concept. But I never thought it would be this beautiful and the stand/secret compartment. That is next level again. Now I must go set my lathe on fire as I am no longer worthy.

    • Cheers mate. Thanks for watching. There’s nothing to worry about with spheres, just Jump straight in and give it a go. Lots of cool techniques out there for getting the perfect shape, as you can see I didn’t use any of them in this video 🤣

    • It doesnt improve safety Bryan. May speed things up at times or give you useful off cuts of nice figured maple (rare round here) but a bandsaw dose not make turning safer. If one was to assume a piece was safer because it had less pointy corners they may over look procedures ( that take place during mounting and turning) that actually make turning safe. 🥸👍🏻
