Amen brother. It's so stupid how they do that
Love Jackie Chan man. Never will there be another like him.
***** Word! I grew up watching all his films. English or not, I watched em all. Rush Hour series were some of the best times I had watching with my family. I still can't believe how great 1 and 2 was, I mean, their synergy was hilarious lol.
Long before Michael Jackson died, all my life, I've wanted to see Jackie Chan and Michael Jackson together.
Has Chan died in a movie? Same as with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood? All super actors, but I have not seen a movie where Chan dies.
Bruce Lee and Jet Lei are good.
Never? Has he died yet?
He's one of my favourite enemies in all Jackie chans films. He likes to Fight, he's strong but he's fair. This movie gives me dbz vibes
Rest in Peace Brad, you were a great fighter, a great talent and a great motivator, since your work has drawn many to pursue martial arts as well. Thank you for that!

Such a touching message. The young man, put the thicker gloves on to be gentle on the older man. The older man’s friend was humble when he saw his rival down. It was a fight but they controlled themselves, to a degree with a kind of honor. The rival stands up for Jackie’s character, despite their personal feud.
Couldn't have said that no better....salute
That's what I highlighted for myself as well.
He put bigger gloves on to draw the fight out longer...he even said that. It wasn't to be gentle.
boxing gloves protect the fighter's hands, not the enemy's face. they also weigh 8 ounces, maybe more, so they increase power delivered during a punch, so in that case the man with gloves is the deadlier opponent
@@UhYeahWhateverDude he put the gloves on to be more gentle to draw out the fight.
brad is hands down the best in jackies camp.I don't think even jackie would really want to mess with him. Jackie decided to show off brads talent in this movie, thats how much jackie has respect for him.All of his stunt team is highly trained and really nice people.
Younger Jackie would eat him alive. Watch the wheels on meals fight scene between him and Benny
Brad has some fancy moves. But Benny the Jet will kick his ass in a real fight.
@@Jehtblu I disagree and I think that Brad would win in a kickboxing-rules match. Jacky comes from a Chinese opera background and Brad comes from actual martial arts background. Both show martial styles and combat-sports, including western boxing. If it was MMA rules, Jacky might win because of size advantage for grappling.
@@chex4214 😂
@@chex4214 Doesn't matter what background JC is in. He's fit AF and has been in actual street fights with multiple opponents in his youth. The only reason he might lose to Brad is age.

I like how Jackie slowed himself down for this. You could see he was moving slower than he really does. Awesome.
It's incredible acting. A great fighter portraying someone who USED to be a great fighter. Rare to see any MA in a movie at INTENTIONALLY less than their best.
You know they used to speed his camera up back then right?
It's actually part of his character role in the movie. His character is mainly a businessman and that his schedule is busy that he doesn't spend alot of time to train hence the reason he lost in the first fight. Before the final fight, he spends time to train and it shows the pace between the 2. His opponent Brad Allen is also part of the Jackie Chan's stunt team in real life. A great martial artist as well.
I feel that too, his moves are very slower than he used to be.
I LOVE this one. I didn't see it for the first time until about a year ago. I'm glad I did!
It's benn a long time since the last I watched this movie I forgot how well this was choreographed. Such a good fight scene 👍

I loved this movie and Jackie Chan's arc. Brad fought and beat him fair and square and even their rematch in the final fight was amazing. The respect and humility during and after the fight by Brad.
Puts on gloves to go easy on him, then kicks him in the face 3 time's with boots.
😂😂

The simple way Bradley took off his own jacket was awesome
Jackie's character in the film would regain focus, training, and come back to beat him later. But then acknowledge they weren't even in the same weight class.

Bloody hell, what a battle. And the ending is quite lovely and humble. Even though you can easily that they were true rivals, there's a genuine respect for each other, similar to Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed 😳😊 Legendary stuff.

Jackie Chan, a quite humble man, willing to lose a fight without fearing losing fames...
@Jack Adams You'd be surprised some people doesn't want to play such role that could potentially pose themselves as a weaker link, shaming their egos.
@Jack Adams How many of your hero's have lost in their own movie, especially when in reality they could win? Doesn't happen often.
Not like the fat phony tail *actor*.
The rock, for example. He just doesn't want to get hit too many times
@@GonzaArg2311 Walking Tall? The Rundown, where he gets his ass beat by a guy 3 feet shorter than him? Scorpion King? He gets hit plenty in his early work in Hollywood. Not to mention all the bumps he took during his WWF career, and his NCAA football play being ended. Can't really hold it against the guy for not wanting to risk being hurt farther, especially as he gets older.
The number of one take fight scenes are incredible. Multiple camera system ruined today’s Hollywood action movies. Jackie is always the best and knows how to make good fight scenes.
I think this the closest we will ever get to a realistic martial arts fight in a movie unlike many others who used stuntmen and tricks to think they're a martial artist
Give me these 80s and 90s HK style action sequences anyday. Long sequences before the camera cut angles. Seen some more recent movies from some martial art actors and sequence cut every 2 to 3 moves and some weird angle cuts make it look better than it really is.
Try watch the raid 1 and 2. Almost all Their fight scene shot in 1 shot
Brad looks a bit like a smaller, younger, Van Damme
Exactly my thought.
I still can't believe Bradley is gone. 😕 But at least the two fights in this film rival even Jackie v Benny and Jackie v Ken in completely different ways. Absolutely some of the best ONE SHOTS in these fights. Simply unbelievable choreography, memorization, reaction speeds, proper distance, footwork, and TIMING! 😳 I mean... just look at all that experience happening at 24fps. Exemplary work.
Perfect movements..., brilliant! Rest in Peace.
R.I.P Brad Allen, I'm glad he got to play as the bad guy and get some well deserved spotlight. Also I liked the yin and yang concept with the outfits throughout the movie

They said it was from Covid
Likely the Experimental Gene Therapy COVID shot. Basically everyone in Australia was forced to get them. No way a young, healthy, fit person like him just 'dies from COVID.'
Safe and effective
He died in 2021 and worked in an industry where you were forced to do a specific thing or get kicked to the curb and you have the gall to ask why he "suddenly died" like so many other recently after they also got the specific thing?

His speed is incredible. And his move looks so smooth
Imagine a dude just rolls up on you and throws gloves at you... And he's 3" shorter than you.

Yes, I guess these two fights are about the most realistical ones. Maybe Jackie's fights with Benny Urquidez, but that's it. I like especially that most punchs and kicks are blocked and that each hit DOES have an effect. Too bad that the rest of this movie was so boring ...

One of the coolest fights in cinema history
Before this fight the movie seems average. This is the scene from where the movie becomes outstanding

I don't the whole story but I love the fighter and boss in that van reaction. Instead of enjoying defeating Jackie Chan, they felt guilt. And Gang Boss was not happy at all. And gave Jackie encouragement and gave him one more chance. True warrior-code. And that fancy fighter, he has very very good manners. He kneeled to Jackie and asked him that he is alright and saying something nice to him that is not sarcastic at all. True martial artist and true Mafia boss in the van.
Even without a word, so much is said.
