I made a stand for my new bandsaw without using a bandsaw or a table saw. I used a very strong joint called Castle Joint. The wood is a cheap pine used for construction, all the material cost me about 15 euros.

No music, no tool pushing, just amazing craftsmanship and the sound of chiseling wood. Beautiful job, sir. New sub!
That’s one of the most beautiful chisel jobs I’ve seen! I didn’t know they could be so sharp
Using a small piece of squared wood to help line up the chisel is one of those super simple ideas that are genius and I never would have thought of doing that. Awesome video, awesome project and thanks for the unintentional tip! :D
Wow, beautiful. Amazing camera work too, really enjoyed the sound of wood being cut with that mirror'y chisel. Good job!
I really like the close ups on the video and the details you show when making that joint. Flawless results - great vid!
That was the best woodworking I've seen on KZhead in a LONG time. Might match the best, or be the best I've ever seen.
I love the cleanup technique. Great work!
This is the most satisfying shop project I've ever watched. Amazing work and super cool techniques.
sharpest chisels on YT.
Could you please make a video going over which tools you use for joinery and how you use them? I'm a beginner that isn't sure where to start.
Very satisfying sounds. Great camerawork. Fantastic Joinery!!!! Plus I kind of like how you were bare foot when you did your test fit. Great work!!
That fit sound was sooo satisfying, especially if you sat through the entire video 👏🏾
Who couldn't appreciate craftsmanship like this? Total build time? Nice work!
Thanks. Probably 8/10 hours of continuous work, i made it in a few weeks on spare time.
the most enjoyable wood work I've ever seen.
Clean video beautiful woodworking.
Great and study end-result. Never thought of using my caliper to setup my marking gauge!
Very nice work ❤
Your work so far has been incredible! I've immediately subscribed and hope to see much more in the future
So much to take in here. This video single handedly gave me the courage to start using a chisel. Immediately subscribed, liked, saved, and followed. Thank you for this amazing video. I also know how I’m going to remake my coffee table.
Complimenti bellissimo video, ottima tecnica, con un cristallo sopra non sfigurerebbe come tavolino in salotto.Bravo
Absolutely beautiful, great job. Darlington, South Carolina USA
I learned how to chisel in a precise way today. Thank you!
Very nice~! Getting ready to try my hand at this in making a platform bed similar to the one sold commercially. I hope mine come out as clean as yours did. Thanks for sharing~!
Wow~~~So Great!
Excellent work, just a stunning piece of wood turned into piece of carpentry's art
bel lavoro...attendendo la nastro!!!
that joint is clever and cute - but IMO it won't take abuse from leg lateral loads bending the joint.
Hi Marson, what a beautiful job. Would you be able to add a link to the castors that you used? I want to make a drill press stand much the same way as this and I noticed that you had the sort of castors that I have been looking for. For such a great display of woodworking and because I now have a great guide on how to make a castle join, you have earned my subscription :-)
Search GD 80F CASTOR on aliexpress.
what was the blue planing tool you used around the 9:50 mark?
A mini router plane, the record 722.
Wow such clean joints! What finish did you use?
First a 2k polyurethane primer then, after sanding, common wood wax.
If I may ask, where did you get that router plane?
Used on ebay. Record 722
