I mean philosophers have had the understanding of the earth being a globe for thousands of years and it’s been generally accepted for hundreds. Now that we have satellites in orbit and the ISS it’s just common fact we live on a globe. Here’s my question though, if the earth is truly flat why would every country in the world, including countries that hate each other all agree to keep it a secret the earth is flat? What do they have to gain, same reason if the moon landings were staged why didn’t the Soviet’s call out the Americans when they only lose by pretending the US got to the moon?

I would be surprised if they don’t start testing them this year, even if they have to put legs on the first few until the build the launch / landing tower. They also bought two floating or semisubmersible drilling platforms to modify into sea launch platforms. They must not sleep! Lol.

  • I love that phrase, "...next evolution of crazy space ideas"! You've got to absolutely love what SpaceX has done, pushing the envelope and making it dramatically less expensive in material, labor and other fabrication costs. I wish them continued great success. Orion may speed up their development now that Jeff has begun to concentrate his attention as well as resources on it, and they'll benefit from what SpaceX has learned, so more power to them, as well. Two private corporations in the U.S. are doing what no other country on earth can do, and we've only seen the early beginnings of what they will accomplish.

Regardless of the full reuse and stainless steel structure that is an EXTREMELY unrealistic goal.
