I love that Joey recognized his own kind and realizes that he needs to teach them how to be well behaved Huskies. That is wonderful to see that he automatically chose his role in raising these pups.

@@boogaloo4640 Is an Alusky a Malamute /Husky mix? I have a rescued mix that is Husky, Malamute, Samoyed, Shepherd and Chow. I did some research and found that she is what is known as a NAID dog.

Joey is like, ‘wow you brought me pups to raise - awesome! Follow me kiddos - let me introduce you to the pack - they are not all like us but they are furry and we are all friends. But it’s so cool you guys and I can be sledging buddies!’ He is clearly taking on responsibility for these babies, just as he would in a pack - it’s fascinating!

We have a grown husky and we have a puppy. The puppy has learned a lot from her big sister, even taught her how to act with big brother the Shepard

Iditarod is an industry that exploits and abuses Huskies. Serioiusly, look into it. Huskies are intelligent, incredible beings, and the Iditarod is the same, or worse, than the exploitative dog-fighting industries.
I'm so proud of you! Once again, not being able to say no you have eight husky babies. And you said you wanted to strengthen your foster muscle. Realizing that you can't keep every foster baby. And further down the road, I hear that all the husky pups have found homes!! Great job. Thank you Lee 💖

Joey's such an uncle. He looks super overwhelmed and not sure of what to do, but at the same time absolutely smitten. Those puppies are gunna his number in no time.
my wife and i have 6 adult huskies, we used to breed them for a few years the cost has gone through the roof to keep them up just in shots heartwormer and food, we have been begging friends family to take one--as we are now in our late 50"s and cant spend as much time with them as we would like. We haven't been able to rehome not single one--to good homes of course. I salute you on giving all the dogs a home to run and play in, and i can tell youre love for the dogs is genuine......God bless asher house!

I am from Puerto Rico. The dog situation is bad here. I live in the coast and see them at the beach running they go in the water and all but there are a lot of stray dogs and puppies. I help feeding them and a couple of neighbors too but there are just too many.

By far huskies and malamutes are the cutest doggies on earth. I grew up with a few and just loved them to pieces. They are so affectionate and loyal. Also, intelligent and very talkative which I love when animals attempt to talk. Oh geez, those puppies are to die for! Thank you Mr. Asher.

Huskies have the strongest pack instinct. If you have a Husky, you will meet every husky who can get loose for miles around, and most can get out, one way or another. Best dogs ever. My three reared my daughter and son. So careful, loving and protective. But not small home or apartment dogs. They need LOTS of exercise, space, play, and running
I was just thinking the same thing. He treats each rescue as if it is the first one. Those animals are so lucky to have him.

This is wild. So many dogs. So many puppies. All just getting along. Great experience for those puppies!! This is honestly probably the best thing for them. All these older dogs will keep them in check. Dogs take of themselves in packs!!
I love how Lee gives kisses to all he gets to show they are loved. Great roll for Joey and he took it on beautifully!
It absolutely amazes me how Lee's dogs follow him, even the ones he meets for the first time.
Most dogs do that you know right?
I own and regularly foster dogs both short and long term. Less than half follow. Even less of them do it consistently.
Some of us are like flypaper for animals. They will find us!

Loved The way he didn't force the 2 out the cage or into his arms when he let them out. Says everything. Seen so many people force themselves on dogs, with a light pitch voice only for the dog to walk away.
To see all those babies in one spot fills my heart so much. I'm sure it's a ton of work and there is a bunch of chaos, but how it fills your heart with so much love and joy. To think that your patience and love is going to bring out each puppies personality. Your going to nurture and love them babies like crazy. They may not all stay but your love will put them on a trail to a beautiful life, and show them that there are loving people out there. Awww. This is heartbreaking. Thank you Lee! Last year I had to put down my 13-year-old Siberian Husky Kenai. He had the kindest soul of any dog I have ever rescued. Thank you for rescuing these dogs and giving them a chance at a good life

Lee, this made me SOOOO happy! This is what I expect to see when I die....tons of dogs running towards me, including my own sweet pups. That is pure heaven for me! You're so lucky to be surrounded by such pure love! I've thanked you so many times, but I'll do it again - THANK YOU for all that you do for these precious animals. I know it's not sunshine and rainbows all the time, but it looks like this part is really close to it!! Looking forward to seeing a lot more videos of these gorgeous babies, as well as Joey teaching his peeps the ropes! And I hope that all the other pups in that horrible situation are as blessed as these.

My husband and I took in a Husky about a month ago that was abused and used for breeding purposes for most of her life until now. Seeing her go from not coming out of her crate and jumping at every noise to bouncing and howling around our house has been one of the most amazing experiences for both of us. As much love as everyone says we have given her she has returned that 10x to us. The world is lucky to have the Asher House.
