Ravenscourt vs Ottawa Pride - Battle in a tree!

Ravenscourt managed to kill a young impala, and hoisted in a nearby marula tree. Unfortunately for him, the two young Ottawa females heard the comotion and came running in, resulting in a battle high in the tree for the carcass! It dropped, but the fight continued for some time. Luckily all escaped without injury, except for the impala.... obviously!
People are shocked when they realize that lions climb trees so well.
Leopard, Lions and Elephants! Gosh, that was some sighting. How lucky were the guests...and guides. ❤

Its really good to see Ravenscort male leopard and the two Othawa females. Even though i thought the lioness was going to fall thank God she didnt!! Thank you for sharing and im glad no one was hurt.

This Leopard knew from the beginning this Lioness is capable of climbing the tree so fast.

He was agile in the tree. She was not. She could have lost her life from a tree not a leopard. He made her look silly in that tree.
When she saw the elephants coming, she found a way to get down the tree so fast
She was torn between self preservation and the urge to smack him around! Her sister on the ground was the clear winner :)
I can hear the leopard talking back to the lioness like: “Nobody told you to climb up after me, dumb a$$!!”
Think the lioness got a bloody nose. Leopards are vicious when cornered and he did well. the Lioness tho aggressive was clearly surprised how much it hurt to be clawed by a fully grown Leopard.
Best was the end when the real kings entered the scene.
