When you’re a teenager, having a crush on someone who bullies you or hangs out with your bully is so relatable. When you’re an adult, its super cringe, like, come on, get some self respect.

Yessss. Why i had a crush on the most popular guy in middle school and my bully (a girl), my crush, and me were forced to sit at the same table. Why the bully asked me "do you like him" right in front of my crush!!!! I just sat silent for 20 secs. It was so akward. Would i have gotten more bullied for it if i said yes? We would never know. Years later my cousin had the guy on FB. Why i message him reminding him of the day and he never responded.

I wonder if Anne would look so lovely in her natural state. So, what sets her apart, sans makeup, plucked brows, from frizzy to smooth, contact lenses, & wardrobe? Dressing to suit her body shape, sure, but mainly her posture - more than standing up straight, it's how you hold yourself - attaining this gives you a feeling of confidence which makes you look better. One other thing. Her smile.

I read the book and it was SO different. First of all, she lived with her uncle and aunt who didn’t give her new things. Still, they kept her safe. Her mother died and her father didn’t know about her? IDK but it’s SO different. She didn’t kiss a boy, didn’t have a chauffeur that was like a guardian angel, didn’t go through all of the “normal” stuff. See what I mean? She learns how to be a princess and moves the Genovia to live with her grandmother, sister (or step sister) and father. I find it outrageous that they changed the ENTIRE story.

Seriously, for anyone who said they just casted an already beautiful actress to play ugly-to-beautiful girl and that there's no way to become beautiful with just eyebrows pluck etc, have you ever tried to take care of yourself? I do agree that straightening her hair might be a little too much and offensive for those with natural curls, but it's only to emphasize how she's a geek who never paid attention to beauty. If you looked at her mom's hair, Mia wouldn't have such a big curls if she had regularly took care of her hair. Plucking eyebrows, skin treatment and etiquette class were to make her presentable for formal event as a royal. They're necessary for an heir of a kingdom. Anyone can be beautiful or handsome if they tried, even without plastic surgery. Some might need to try harder, but it's not impossible. Even small thing like fixing your hunchback can change people's impression of you in a matter of second.

This makes you even more beautiful. Thank you Miss Yoon for having that precious part of you that gives of yourself to help others. What a better world it would be if we had more like you..

@@stopspam7401 omg thank you so much for your kind words 🥺🙏🏻 yes, this is said based on my own experience. I was the ugly duckling of my family, and ppl around me would make sure I know it. When I was a teen, I read books about girls like Mia who transformed from ugly to beautiful, I thought maybe I should give it a try. I got a hunchback bc I was quite tall, as a skinny person I looked sickly with bad posture and pale skin to top, so I learned to walk the walk and exercised regularly, it helped fixed my posture, my skin tone got better and I gained some muscles that I no longer look like a stick. In my freshman year, I trimmed my eyebrows, it really changed my face. A little concealer, blusher and lip stain made me look so much healthier. Then I got more serious about beauty, I learned about hair care, skin care, color theory, how to dress etc. Now that I'm almost 30, I don't care that much about what people say anymore, I only do makeup and everything else for myself bc I realized I was never ugly, just unkempt. Some ppl naturally look beautiful, some put on effort but never let others know, some have to work very hard, don't be a person who think it's impossible from the start.

@@dyscea I'm not dissing on the idea, it's a great way to entertain us. I just wish they would pick someone who isn't innately drop-dead gorgeous and making her look "not" just via bad grooming. I thought she was gorgeous the whole movie... because I lived with women and that cursed me to see through the packaging. I'm not exceptional in this, there are lots like us, especially as we get older. I just wish they would pick someone "plain" or not-so-comely to do that. I personally know some ladies who actually need to do all that jazz to look good. Even a celebrity comes to mind but I don't want her fans to flame me. Take some "hot" celebrity pictures and photoshop them to not have makeup, have a ponytail/bun, and to actually outline their overall figure and you'll see who I mean. I mean, lots of child actors become "plain" teens... those usually fade into obscurity. So, why not keep them for a movie that includes a makeover? It's win-win all over the place.

I wonder if Anne would look so lovely in her natural state. So, what sets her apart, sans makeup, plucked brows, from frizzy to smooth, contact lenses, & wardrobe? I liked her fluffy hair. It looked so soft, almost like a cloud.
Such a huge comment 😂

@@yoon9521 There is insight and maturity in what you say. It almost sounds like the voice of experience. You have something deeper, more meaningful to you.
The way he spoke the story like it was a horror movie was really scary plus the movie is honestly a cute goofy and lovely bright movie.
As someone who has read the whole series, the movies are mentioned with "the actress is so much beautiful than me" and "they made grandmere nicer and Lilly meaner" and I agree. The movies are good on their own but man, the actual story of the Princess of Genovia has a special place in my heart.

@@PriyankaKumbar "Princess Diaries" I think? And you welcome ☺️
I felt after watching this video I felt I’m in the cenema
Guys just know I will always be here for you even in the hardest times for you may you your family and your friends be happy
The brother always reminded me of the Beatles hair cut 😄
I hate these kind of movies. How can you look at this woman and not think she's gorgeous long before they plucked and painted her up?
Ikr she’s Anne Hathaway you can’t make her ugly 😂
the hair “make over” too omg :/ curly hairstyle is great tho..
Have u even watched the full movie?
@@elenafarheen6994 yeah
@@cassiemckinney2683 no one knew that in 2001
Anne Hathaway is most prettiest women in the world 😍😍😍 😘😘😘
I love her movie never tired of watching it for years she's great I love her needs more more
I'm glad I'm a princess too like her and that's really cool that she stopped the bullying and it was nice that she's the princess and she doesn't get bullied again.
You are a princess?? May i know which country's princess you are?
@@abhilashs2264 daddy's princess 🤭
THE WHOLE SERIES MADE MY CHILDHOOD FEEL LIKE IT WAS ACTUALLY AN CHILDHOOD,,
The princess diaries will always have a special place in my heart.
Watched this with my children lots and lots of time during their growing up years, as well as the sequence....nice film, enjoyable
it's sad tho that she had to straighten her hair to be considered pretty
True
seriously i would've been so pissed if i was her, i also have curly hair and all she literally needed was hot oil and a few stuff to tame her hair fuck that guy
Lmao ❄️
She looks better with straight hair tho
@@pepperdayjackpac4521 yeah I think straight hair looks really good on her but she was pretty with her curly hair too. It’s just the fact that they think she is not pretty with curly hair that is triggering me
Ah the 2000s.... where the heroine's best friend is required to be quirky.
Soooo no one’s gonna talk about how she didn’t wash her hair after it was straightened throughout the whole movie???
This movie reigned my hatred for the paparazzi and journalists and news reporters
Where I come from, you don't marry the queen, the queen marries you. You don't marry the princess but she does you.
She is stunning.
Hello Yuen how are you doing?
I really admire her beauty🥰🥰
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and your recap was great!! I'd like to hear one about "The Princess Bride" - one of my favourite movies ever!!
Thank you for this I had never seen this movie before Always heard about it now I feel as though I seen it all 🖤
Plot: You are suddenly the Queen of an whole country

They didn't know she is the queen. But starts to sing the entire live aid stage by Queen band.

I’ve always hated Lily. Her hair annoys me and she’s making her friend cover up her hair just because she changed.
Because she love her You will get the same feeling when you go through it
@@deepakk1347 that’s the thing, my two of my friends changed. One becoming a tik tok girl with now vibrant red hair and the other becoming a whole other gender. I didn’t lash out on them or tell them to change back.
@@X.iao_Liang cause she's a human being who's deeply insecure of themselves and is afraid that she'll lose the only company they have, and is projecting her insecurity onto her. I'm not justifying her actions, but it makes sense
@@deepakk1347 it's definitely not love. It's a fear of losing the one she cared about the most
What a jelous friend
I think Anne Hathaway looked adorable with glasses and bushy hair.
In the scene where mia was reading her father's letter, the prince shown as writing diary is anna hathaway's own father
Oh What!!! No way!! 🤣
What? Really? That's amazing 🥰👍👏
Love this movie"the Princess'Diary" thanks for the recapped.
what a beautiful love story of a shy girl
Love the story! Interesting twist! Interesting with Julie Andrews!
She’s not the queen? Her grandmother is- Hun I’ve seen this movie.
Both are queen, but Mia is pure queen because of her lata father. Meanwhile her grandmother is not pure queen, she only queen only when she got married.
Can I just say her own brother ( ex brother,,) has a crush on her -
@@irenavirdi5962 oh no
@@Endez1a but he says her brother has a crush on Mia but she doesn’t get close to him-
It's called Clickbaiting
Thanks for the recap. It's almost like I watched a movie without having to spend over an hour or two in front of a screen
