There is no journalist in any sport who spends all of his time and energy asking all the athletes about how much money they get. Real journalists cover the actual sport. Get fighters on and ask them about the fights, their training, their goals, not their fucking contracts. These fighters are humans and they don’t want everyone knowing their business. Until Ariel tells us how much he pays all his employees, he needs to STFU. He is a weasel and it has nothing to do with Dana white, how you think that tells how brainwashed you are. Ariel is the cnn of mma. Dana white is his Donald trump. Just like cnn. Ariel has lost a massive chunk of his viewers. He was the biggest name in mma journalism, now he’s not in the top 5. No one watches his show anymore. Look at his views compared to the schmo, Nina drama, Helen yee, Luke Thomas, and others. Chael has a bigger audience than Ariel, and so do all the other retired fighters now in the media. Ariel is done and he’s just desperate AF. He will be completely irrelevant in a couple more years.

Ariel is well known because he asks the tough questions. He is doing his job to get information out there. I feel Buckley got offended at the first question and reacted that way. And so people talk about him too.
There’s a difference between asking tough questions and purposefully putting people in awkward situations where you know they can only answer the question one way

Bisping fumbled the bag about James Krause. That would have been interesting to hear Buckleys side of the story and could be a possible fight down the line; after their UFC career that is since James Krause is totally banned from the UFC, I think. James Krause is no chump, he was on a winning streak before he retired and got caught with the gambling stuff. Krause vs Buckley would be a great matchup maybe in a different promotion or something!!!!
Dear UFC 50K back in the Mcgregor days was a nice amount but these days 50k is nothing compared to what the UFC makes, its time to take it up

I understand what buckland is saying but shows are only going to invite fighters at the top of the sport thats same with everything in life. When was the last time you watched an interview from some on a nfl practice squad or nba g league player or an interview or a lower division football player. I can see what he means, but in a news cycle only the winners and relevant info for the day matters. So he shouldnt take it too personal. If hes afraid of questions that could get him in trouble, I think thats more of an indictment of the UFC and Dana. They like being free-speech sprited, but if u talk bad about them, even in fairness, it seems like they punish their fighters.
Ariel always asks about the gossipy stuff and contract stuff and doesn’t really ask about style match ups and future opponents etc. Sits there causing trouble between fighters and having oestrogen explosions online whenever anyone calls him out.
