  • I'd guess an immortal being would at some point learn to stop proccesing time at will, escentially skipping all the 'boring' times. If this was possible, i wouldn't mind being immortal, witnessing all the good and bad. I find it hard to believe that it is as horrible as some people make it out to be. Yes you will outlive all your relatives, but you will come to terms with this, Time heals all wounds, and you only got time.

    @bluntlyhonest6803@bluntlyhonest68032 жыл бұрын
    • 1.Maybe but imagine witnessing the end of Universe . It will not be very plesant experience 2. Life may lose its meaning to you . Because life is limited it's precious. Your perspective of life will change 3. Maybe you will move on but it will not be the same to say the least. I would prefer my loved ones to be immortal as well 4. Nobody knows for sure what will happen in the future Eternal life may be cool but it has its minuses. I would prefer a very long life(like 1000- 10 000 years) and when I have done everything I wanted to I could choose if I want to die

Some of those downs can last long long times but there will be an up at some point and if you continuously keep training yourself to handle hard situations well the bad things won't seem as bad and the good will still feel good.

Lots of people besides the closes ones didn’t seem super sad to me. I was in Air Force honor guard for about a year and in turn worked around 50 funerals and most of them I carried the casket myself with a team. I’ve talked to a lot of people, so take my word for it when I say it’s okay to feel that way.
