I've been saying this for 4 years. The earliest to realistically expect this is holiday 2025. And the majority of the gta community that thinks more intellectually have said the same for 4 years. No way will it truly be spring 2025. People just assumed that because of the fiscal predictions by Take Two. Any common sense would tell you they can still earn that prediction with PREORDERS! Preorders will probably start spring 2025, then release fully September to December 2025.

With the amount of investors holding millions in take two stock the risk of a delay would disappoint them and mean they pull there funds from there stock if rockstar thought there could be a delay they wouldn’t have put 2025 in the title end of
Red Dead Redemption 2 got delayed numerous times to the point it became a meme. And yet it went on to become one of the greatest games of all time that people, including myself, still play and discover new things in it to this day. Delays are annoying but 2yrs post-release we will have forgotten all about that and celebrating how good it is

What needs to happen is a company needs to release a GTA like game that can compete with Rockstar, because it reminds Rockstar that they're not special and can't put 10 year deadlines on games. Not sure if it's gonna happen, but that would definitely keep Rockstar on their toes. Imagine a GTA like game based in the UK, with the rising popularity of the UK drill scene it makes sense.
