Reliable leakers say there's 4 cities in the game. The community map looks like one city, one big town and a few small towns.

Yeah it's kind of funny how they just put everything together but some of those guys are pretty talented on mapping areas by the leaks. There's a lot of information out there.

You're setting yourself up for disappointment. I'd rather it only be 50% bigger at launch with much more detail & expand overtime into northern Florida (or northern Leonida as it will be called)
gta5 budget was like 200+ million and gta6's budget is 2billion thats like 20 times over it should be wayyy cleaner

@@chris_cmt2025 Yeah, it was a tech demo in which they succeeded. You could reach there again using mods on PC. But wish it was still available to be explored automatically.

Because it’s a fictional place. You should look up the inspiration for the GTA V map. The places they plugged in (like Slab City, for example) have zero relevance to their real life locations. Again, fictional places can be designed however they want.
Clickwores like MrBossFTWank are the reason why gamers are going to be angry when the game comes out, because they oversold everything based on next to no official evidence whatsoever.

A smaller map won't automatically be more interactive. Be careful what you wish for because you might end up with a map that's smaller than what it could have been, but it wouldn't be any more interactive than if it were bigger.

3:35 I made this map btw not that I was given any credit by Mrbossftw or even asked if he could use it. And I see you all in the comments saying the scale is off and I promise you many have fact checked my map people have even put the models into blender to test the scale and it is always the exact same scale as my map...
So now that I finally know that I probably will still be alive when the game comes out, I'm starting to worry that I'll never be able to finish it before I die.

Such a disappointment to see that the map that has been created is only half of florida, half!
My guess is with the leaks suggesting another main character other then Jason or Lucia, Is that the character Is apart of the original story but planned to have a bigger Story itself like episodes of Liberty City with Ballad of Gay tony And the Lost and Dammed, Having this extra story being made on the side to build onto the extra characters Featured But not Totally present during the main story
Well if they’re calling it by its state name, then they might as well just go ahead and put every city of Florida that’s in the IRL Florida Jacksonville Miami, Tampa Tallahassee, Pensacola, Panama City they just put the entire dang Leonida state in the game

Call Me Crazy, but I think GTA San Andreas had the biggest map, I feel i was even bigger than this, especially for around the time it came out.. Now If Rockstar would of Did the San Andreas man for GTA VI with everything new, That would be Killer and WE KNOW THIS !!!!

I really hoped the map would be this big, the whole state, but it's really not looking like it will be. My reasons are: 1. The leaks only showed us clips and images from parts of the lower tip of Florida, what will be Leonida. 2. The trailer. The trailer only showed us exactly places that we had already seen or known about from the leaks. Not a single new location was hinted at north of the general map we had in mind. North of Lake Leonida in general. 3. ROAD SIGNS. This one is minor but has a lot of weight to it. Not a single road sign, in the leaks or the trailer, mentioned a name of an unknown location north. Any sign we saw mentioned a place we knew about already. If the map expanded northwards there would HAVE to be cities up there, but any sign in the leaks/trailer that pointed north ONLY mentioned places we knew about already. Signs on the highway pointing to Lake Leonida for example, realistically, should also point to other locations in that direction, however they didn't. All of this strongly makes me believe that what we've seen is all we're getting. It still remains a mystery what will be up north and how they'll limit the map, but I'm pretty sure it won't be as big as hoped.
