For those interested, the addition of the panhandle is based on a newly discovered traffic sign in one of the leaked clips (Lucia in the bed of the truck being chased by cops down the street) that seems to mimic a Florida highway sign which features an outline of the state. The sign in the clip looks to have an outline with a similarly shaped northwest border as the reall sign, indicating a wider than initially speculated northern region.
More excited to just drive around exploring the map than I am to actually play through the story

Even though KZhead's new UI update is complete, mind numbing trash. I'm so thankful to be experiencing the development of the one of the greatest games with such an amazing community. Who knows when we will get this type experience again. When the game finally comes out we will all have fond memories of these moments. See you in VC -
Jesus that's a big ass map lol, I reckon 4 major cities, small towns scattred throughout. Hope people appreciate thie game when it releases cause we gone be stuck with it for the next 15-20 years
