    • @@TremblingQualifier i agree, these aren't her better surfaces, but since almost 7 months of the year they play on hard surfaces(outdoor and indoor), I'm sure she will manage to come back to top5 if not by the end of this year, then definitley in next 12 month. Remember that she is the most dangerous when she is relaxed, which she was at least when she was winning her first two slams because she didn't feel any presure. And it seems to me that now again she doesn't have any pressure anymore, which will make her a grand slam contender already this year at the US Open

      @HS33@HS332 ай бұрын
  • Naomi's play has improved dramatically in the two months since her return. When she first came back, she had many problems such as not being able to follow the ball, not being able to read the course of the opponent's ball, and being unable to move, but those problems no longer exist. In particular, her defensive range and counter shots when she is moved to the backside are comparable to those in her heyday, and her forehand rallies are among the top-class among female players, yet she makes few mistakes. Her playing style is very simple and is called power tennis, but what makes it interesting to watch is that unlike Ostapenko's ace-or-miss style, her shots are constructed and of great quality. I feel that the popularity of the WTA is declining because Iga is too strong, but if a rivalry between a superstar like Naomi and the strongest queen Iga is created, the popularity of women's tennis will rise again. In fact, her matches attract a large number of spectators and attract a lot of attention.

    • Indeed, the improvement in Osaka's play in the last couple of months has been remarkable. I remember watching her lose to Collins in Abu Dhabi in early February and I could scarcely believe how weak her movement looked. In fact the only thing that was firing as it used to was the serve in the first set. Everything else was off. The turnaround has been impressive to say the least. She looks more and more like the Naomi of old with each tournament.

Naomi was so much more consistent in this match, clutch during pressure points, and she is showing continued improvement on her serve. • The rapid development of Naomi Osaka will absolutely escalate the rivalry in the women's tennis. She has an unforeseen upturn within 2024 season in terms of the advancement. If it smoothly continues throughout the whole period, we will watch the fortuitous outcomes in the formidable encounters.

    • @@notis6107 way better is subjective. She is better but way better is exgegrated. Despite her non slams. She has only one slam outside clay. And limited on grass as well as aus open.
