I've been suffering since July 2023 it's now Feb 2024. New species found only in USA has been found in people who never traveled according to NIH. I'm in NM it started as CL to ML and now VL. I've made so many calls and seen so many providers and this is before USA one was found. I'm not believed even though I'm covered in the bites constantly and many females are buried in my skin. I lost vision in left eye now too because they are literally everywhere on me and since they lay eggs in your skin itz almost impossible to get rid of them and they have taken over my surroundings then starts over. I'm the host so until they're gone from me nothing will get rid of them in my environment. 😢
If this "sand flea" is what is commonly known as a "jigger" (unclear here), you'll need to cut it out if it's burrowed in.
