  • As construction projects go, this one is pretty ballsy! So many obstacles to work out. Extremely tight spaces, endless safety concerns. Next generation train tech. This one has it all and then some. Good effort by all to get it done though and ensure Sydney is fit for the future.

  • Very, very interesting. A project that will transform Sydney for the next 200 years. Bigger and more grand than London's ambitious and difficult Crossrail or one American city's transport system that I forget the location of. I just wish my adopted country of Portugal had such vision whilst trying to decide where to site its new Lisbon airport.

  • If you didn't know it: but they are facing huge time pressure all the time and everything needs to be done ultra precisely with zero error or margin of tolerance and if only one guy misses a drop taking a piss - the whole thing will collapse and the world will come to an end :-)

  • The good think about the Chinese is that they finish their profects ahead of time so the prize doesn't skyrocket unlike the uk when making a project like the new high speed line from London to Manchester that cost 40 billion pounds but because we add incompetent leader its now about double digits and they add to cut cost like some infrastructure projects was abolished because government doesn't have any money

  • Why would you load excavation material in trucks and sent them true traffic in the city, if you are excavating right next to a train track. Wouldn’t it be less disruptive for the city traffic to use rail to shunt your material in and out, in stead of road 🤷‍♂️

Whoever thought presenting like this draws extra viewers? There is so much more interesting info that could've been talked about. Shame....
