I always love watching people trying to bring vehicles back to life!
Love watching your videos. The ability to do so little to get these old engines running is a real testament to the quality and workmanship that were placed into these machines. I doubt 20-30 years from now you will see anyone start these new electronic controlled machines. Thanks so very much for sharing this.
Agreed
Most of the older construction equipment abandoned wasn't because of engine failures most of the time it was int was the hydraulic pump or transmission. The older V71 series Detroit's built America and won WWll for us and they could be serviced easily in the field most of the time. Loved this video guys, I'll be subscribing to your channel.
Thanks! We appreciate you stopping by
Oh i love watching machines that have been sitting for years being brought back to life. Good job.
Thanks much
I found this video, I was looking up a skidder being pressure washed and none showed up but this video I run these skidders but they have swinging grapple booms in idaho. The key ignition switch makes the same beeping noise though 🤣🌈🎇🛸✨ there is another logging job down the road & they have this exact model as on this video and a log loader to match,, I am pretty sure there tree"log" processor is close also.
I love seeing you and Wiley working together. He's got so much knowledge about these old diesel pieces of equipment. I feel like I'm getting smarter every time I watch one. God bless Hank. 👍😁🙏
Lol… he’s a good dude for sure!
Just love to see these old beasts recovered to operating condition. Good on you fellows for putting the time into it. 👍
Super 👍🇸🇰
It's always good to see somebody bringing these old equipments back to life.
Nice work Hank on y'all getting the skidder running and moving from setting for awhile I'm glad to see people do that on old equipment instead of just letting them seat there and go to waste metal
Right on!
1 gia đình nhỏ nhưng hạnh phúc to. Ngưỡng mộ thầy Lộc thật đấy
I love the video make sure you give my best to your daughter and you good old boys have a wonderful weekend enjoy your videos always
This reliable and highly experienced mechanic deserves to be imitated
😂
Meus parabéns por trazer a vida essas máquinas maravilhosas
Love how the Young lad Jason was turning the steering while he was cranking it over lol. Go 4 it brilliant sounds good enough to me. Be a good Machine with some Tlc 👌👍
Thanks!

It breaks down.& shows you the whole process.& procedure of doing it all. Along with what items you need for doing so with from hardware store parts.& wal-mart items to.
youll have to come to the orlando auctions with us next year. Some good junk!
Right on! I hear they have some good stuff
We talking about Orlando flordia correct?
@@HamiltonvilleFarm why did you shake the steering wheel while you were cranking the skidder ? How does that help it to start ?
Yes! Y’all come on down!
@@brieannateylar5810 it releases back pressure on the hydraulic pumps, letting the engine spin over faster.
Awesome Guys, I love watching you work on different Machines, God Bless You!!!
Thanks much!
God bless you and your family God bless you all your friends God bless and keep you on the right path to get
Enjoyed the video hank ! Awesome watching y’all getting those old machines up and running again Would love to come down and hang out with y’all for a day Y’all have a good one 👍
Right on!
Woohoo! Another one springs to life!!👍👍👍😎 Those skidders are tough old birds....my favorite piece of logging equipment! Good job guys!!
They’re cool! I like them too
This is such a genuine education to watch I feel like I learn so much from every video
Thanks!
Thanks Hank. Over here those pipe grips are called Stilsons. They mark up everything but sometimes needs must. In a pinch they are a decent hammer too 😆.
👍
I'm enjoying watching people restoring up useful abandoned stuff like this one. Thumb up, of course !
Thanks buddy!
Cảm ơn các bạn đã hồi sinh quá khứ .
I think that is awesome you guys getting all those old machines running after all the years they sit there that is so cool thank you keep up the good work
My grandpa owned a forestry company when I was knee high to a grasshopper back in the 90's. Skidders were my favorite piece of equipment that he had.
Es increíble que estás máquinas vuelvan a latir. Y lo que sorprende bastante son los lugares donde las abandonan. Lugares alejados de la civilización. Me gusta verlos.
That ole skidder sounds good with the straight pipe coming off the turbo. Good video Hank! 👈
I like your videos. Especially about the farm and the launch of old forgotten equipment.
Thanks!
There are three skidders that are way back in the woods. Been in the woods four years.but they are way back off in the swamps.
Nothing better than an old John Deere skidder. I love my timberjack but I’d love to have this unit! Another successful job from the Hamiltonville boys!
Thanks 👍It is pretty cool to see them crank up. I like the timber jack's they're awesome
Так здорово, когда старенький трактор оживает после стольких лет забвения) молодцы
I do like your videos, knowledge of so much plant, your humour and respect for each other is clear always. Kind regards from Croy, near inverness highlands of Scotland.
Been a logger since high school(10 years) and ran most skidders under the sun and my favorites were a 95 540GIII grapple and a 99 Timberjack 360 grapple. That’ll make a good buggy for someone
right on!
Hard to beat a tight TJ 360 or 450! We ran a 360 on small tires for winching exclusively, the 450 ran both grapple & winching. That 380 would track like a machine twice it's size!
Excellent job guys. Well done. I did my apprenticeship on John Deers 740's Log Skidders.
Right on
Tennessee is glad to have him. Glad y'all got the skidder going. Those are work horse right there. Can't bear them and hard to killem
Napred majstori mašina i žena kao i riba nikada nestare za sve ima majstor. Sretno.
See that’s amazing. Nature always provides. Grew you an old tractor.
You good old boys are just having too much fun I wish I was there with you Keep the videos coming sure like em thank you
Well, I must say, most times you never hear anyone say God Bless! Etc. It's nice not to hear some cussing going on , etc.!!! Great job, and stay safe! Have a blessed day!
Thanks for taking the time to watch and make the comment. I truly appreciate it! Have a good day.
I use to build the G series when I started at deere years ago. Good machine.
Awesome will it start Hank, that old skidder sounds great!
It does!
Que lindo es ver gente con Oficio
Bypass the disconnect switch...........everyday a school day, new subscriber from Ireland......excellent

That was The fastest coldstart I’ve seen on this channel! I’m surprised it started that easily!
Pretty cool eh?
@@HamiltonvilleFarm how long was it sitting? I did not catch that part in the video
Nice job hank getting the log skidder running and operational
Thanks much!
I miss you too, brothers! Ol' Wiley is making me proud with those ratchet wrenches!
😀👍
Actually this is so amazing video When i saw that vehicle i never thought that it never be able to start i hat off you all of you.take more videos of like this
It's amazing that over 90% of theses will it start videos these old vintage machinery starts right up
Pretty neat… and (I’m being serious) starting with us working on them not knowing what we’re doing! Thank you for watching
Wiley is a wealth of knowledge, learn as much as you can.
👍
Que lindo sonido que tiene eso, es impresionante...
Thats Awesome Yall straight brought that equipment out of its grave!!! Sounds Soo Goood!!
A penny works really good. Just take pliers and bend it a tad then push it inside the cable terminal and down over the post then tighten. Works great in a pinch
I had a fellow cut some timber for me in 2018 and the engine went out in his 1999 TigerCat skidder. He said he'd come remove it but he only came and removed the engine. I have not heard from him since. Even without the engine it's worth something, two tires are new looking. I've been considering purchasing an engine and repairing myself. It would be cool to have a skidder.
Hello all, new subscriber here sent over from Matt @dieselcreek . Enjoyed watching this video and the content. I appreciate the clean language and Christ honoring attitudes. Looking forward too watching many more.. God bless brothers.
Welcome . Thanks for stopping by.
Good to see you again hank hope you are doing great good luck with skidded see you soon buddy

A giant reawakens, good job on getting this industrial giant repaired.
I worked on old equipment an diesel engines for 25 yrs , love the feeling of bring them back to life
For sure!
You will have to call your farm wileys farm soon hank. That was a lucky one no major problems with it except a tyre, rust, a good clean and insecure batteries. Thanks for the upload.
👍👍
As a kid growing up in a logging town in Louisiana...this was my first car go kart four wheeler etc..old cat skidder at 12 years old pulling trees to the pulpwood station ..this old baby's are tanks
Right on !
that was an awesome repair - what a sweet sounding engine!
Mantap bosku 👍👍👍
Haganles una buena mantencion y tendran maquina para toda la vida y las proximas generaciones esa si eran maquinas de vrrdad verdad
Up north, we call these things grapple skidders, and they are fun to watch work.
I’d love to stumble across a good old skidded that needs some work. They’re the only kind I could possibly afford!🏦

Wiley is a real character 😝 😆 love his humor. Awesome work guys 👏
i like wiley..he seems like a grizzled well seasoned mechanic on heavy equipment..i like you too hank.
He’s ok. Sometimes he gets grumpy if I don’t feed him 😂
Thanks For Another Great Video. Y'all Okay In That Storm?
Yeah, we have a little spit of rain left here, but all Is good. Maybe tagged 60mph with the winds.
Vcs são fera na mecânica isto é incrível show amigos 👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
Buenos mecánicos los felicito
hy nice what you have against, you are still missing an extra for wood. and the fleet is complete. you already have a scider but you need at least two of them, what felt is a bager for cutting down trees. and that should stand together in the hall.
As usual vous êtes mes idols ! Damn, I feel something when it start 😂 thank you, good show. ✌🏼🇨🇦❤️
👍
Hello from Minnesota. At least no wasps!
For sure! Thanks for watching Ricky
You are getting the reputation Hank Mr, Crescent Wrench. Great video

Loved your video..had one just like it.put many a meal on the table for my family.
That is awesome!
Ang galing nio mga sir god bless stay safe salute
Omg , I LOVE THIS , GOOSE BUMPS ALL OVER !!
When those g models came out, they were such a blessing compared to the e models with the elephant snout going to the grapple. My dad bought a new 1995 648e and bragged about what a good deal he got. The reality is they were so glad to get rid of the last of those e models.
Thanks for taking the time to watch and make the comment. I truly appreciate it! Have a good day.

That square glass fuel filter. The filter plant I work at actually makes those still . Wix brand and john deere
Esses caras são muito bons 🇧🇷👍🏼
Wow, awesome result. Great job, guys.
👍
Wiley is a wizard of old stuff. Ha.
He’s the expert!

That was awesome i was just as excited as you guys when it fired up nice filming and good work👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Legal eu gosto muito de ver essas máquinas funcionar depois de muito tempo parado, e emocionante 💥👍🇧🇷🇧🇷
Hank, it is always amazing to watch folks who know what they are doing get these machines running again. Just got back home from Indianapolis at the National FOP Biennial Conference and am now catching back up on your videos. Enjoyed.
Right on!
Why is it amazing? The guys who have to do it to keep moving forward sure don't think it's amazing....
I love all those skidders you all work on,I wish I could drive 🚗 one..It looks like a off road monster 👻 truck...
👍👍
It seems the beast is happy and thanking you after being awakened from long sleep
👍👍
Sounds like plenty of life left in that skidder bro. Can you send some warmer weather down my way. Great video by the way. Safe travels
lol. We are literally in the middle Of a tropical storm as I type this.. 60MPH winds blowing outside my window.
Blowing a gale here too, just waiting for the thundery rain forecast for this afternoon, just gone midday so not far off. It's Tuesday here
those 748 are real good machines! its a keeper
God bless you too Brother in Christ!
It is very good and will be able to operate again..
Great video guys 👍 Love old Iron thank you
Thanks!
"this thing's MAKING fluid.." I have a new favorite phrase!!!
Lol
your works very awesomeness i like your works .
I know you don’t do in depth electrical stuff but I’d invest in a good multimeter that has a fuse built in just from a safety stand point. Southwire brand that Lowe’s and I think Home Depot carries too isn’t a bad option. Fairly priced and a lot better than those cheap meters in the event something got crossed and it popped in your hands. Personally I use fluke for my line of work.
I have a good one for my personal use. This is my KZhead one 😁
@@HamiltonvilleFarm Good deal! I get nervous when I see them little meters come out! I work on generators all sizes from residential to industrial and seen them little meters hurt folks
