Bees built a hive under the cover of a backyard fire pit and I was called to remove them. This was a small colony, but as I started to remove their hive I found that they had a super strong queen and the hive was full of baby bees! I had to work as slowly and carefully as I could to keep the baby bees safe, find the queen and get all the bees into the new hive.

Your respect and care for the bees is probably why they’re docile around you. You have a caring spirit. Good for you. You are The Bee Whisperer.😊
I imagine that the bees of your state probably know about you from stories from other bees at this point since you're so good at this.
I'll bet they do!!! She is amazing. Kind, gentle spirit.
Surely they got the bee-mail
I agree!
They have a special wiggle dance for "she's over there--->"
There may just be more truth in that than we’ll ever know. They are able to give really specific directions to other bees with their own little “language” I’m sure they can communicate other things we haven’t deciphered yet
I have handled a few bees in my time and thousands of other six and eight legged Animals. There are some really fine keepers out there, but you Ma'am in my opinion, are not only a great caring keeper but such an awesome teacher and storyteller. many, many blessings, I just love you're videos so much. I hope you never stop much love and respect 🙏 ❤️
@@BrotherChad Wasps are cool
Iv been attacked by bees on a few occasions and by some particularly unhappy hornets once , due to my job I come across them sometimes,so iv developed a bit of a fear ,we have wasps here in Tasmania, one is not native to here yellow and black striped ones I think they might be from Spain .
@@Nick-rr5cy the wasps we have here in Scotland are yellow and black and man!! they are so angry always looking for a fight!! 😮 there’s an old saying here for someone who continually pisses you off for no reason and it’s “they’re like a wasp at a picnic!!” 😂
I love these bee rescue videos 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
@Tyler Farbes Oh I do to buddy I could watch these all day they are fascinating.
I caught my first swarm yesterday! I watched an hour of your videos to prepare myself. I even scooped a few handfuls! Thanks to you I got over my fear and helped save the bees ❤
Wow! Way to go!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Yay!! I love this.
I love how you rescue unwanted hives and explain what you're doing. After watching several of your videos, I started getting suggestions of other beekeepers who rescue hives. I started watching them and found that I like your technique more. It seems gentler, less invasive, and more respective than the others I have watched.
I grew up terrified of bees. Watching you save colony after colony, and being so respectful of everything about bees, has completely changed my mind about them. Thank you for saving the bees. After finding you, I’ve watched a bunch of bee vids. You are my favorite. So calm and kind. ❤
I never tire of watching you care for bees. Your respect, compassion and calm are so evident and wonderful to see.
I know this was essentially easy mode for us, but I'm still happy I was able to see which one was the queen before you circled her!
Me, too!
Yeah, I’m getting better at that too…lol
The washing machine hive was really A-Grade Queen seeking skill requirement
Same!🐝
It’s like seeing worm cocoons in a compost bin, once you learn to recognize them they jump out at you.
I’m always fascinated how you do your work without wearing any beekeeping gear. What a gift you have with bees.
Have you heard of JP the Bee guy 😀🤣👍🏽👍🏽 check him out 👍🏽👍🏽🤣🤣😀😀 he's cool 😎😀🤣👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
As am I!
After being stung many times, it won't bother you anymore.
I am a beekeeper in East London, South Africa. If we have to do a removal like that without a bee suite or gloves, we most probably die or at best end up in hospital. Its crazy to watch this done without a suite. So jealous
It's your aura of calm that keeps the bees docile!
This channel is so inspiring, relaxing, informative, and entertaining all at once. The work you do is so important and you deserve to be praised for your efforts in bee conservation.
Well said!
I like the way she says "baby bees". So gentle .
Your respect for these animals is just heart warming and inspiring. Bees (and bumblebees) are my favourite animals and I enjoy learning more about them and just seeing your careful, respectful treatment of them in your videos. Thank you for taking the time to film these videos for us 💛🖤🧡 🐝 🐝 🐝
They’re uh…they’re insects. But I agree with you, they’re very sweet and gentle!
Try removing bumble bees with no protection because you respect them
@@LocalGooberGoobs When they said animal I just knew that someone would have commented, nope there insects.
Wonderful- bees are so essential to our eco system.
Having been a bee keeper for a few years, it's great to see the rescue work you're doing.
So cool to see the baby bee emerging! Thanks for sharing! Your videos always brighten my day and make me smile. 😊
Texas is lucky to have people like you
I love how calm you are. You are a natural and the bees are so lucky to have you! I would love to spend a day with you!
And it was another great day of saving the beeeezzz! ❤❤❤

@rosee chevrier what video is that with the stuffed animals? I can’t find it. Thanks so much
I really like your voice and Vocal Timbre. Have you ever considered doing a audiobook About bees🐝 . You have a very calming voice and cadence when you narrate. No wonder the bees love you.
That's it, my new ringtone: IT WAS ANOTHER GREAT DAY OF SAVING THE BEES love your videos, please keep making them.
you're a beautiful human. the world could use more people like you.
Best KZhead channel to watch while I’m knitting 🧶🐝💗🙏🏻 and I’m learning so much thank you darling 🙏🏻💗🐝
I just watch these to hear "and it was another great day of saving the bees!"
HA! I love it! Thanks for watching!
Nice! We are still in winter up here. Just fed the bees some sugar cakes. But the queen is laying, so good news. - Eric.
I honestly love all the information you give us with these removals. Also you have just such a calming voice and technique that I find myself feeling calm and content after listening to you! Keep up the great work!
would love to see the permanent hives; curious how quickly a new hive adapts to being relocated.
I have no doubts that the bees feel your love for them. And we can feel it too ❤️
There is something about this that makes me want to cry. They are such a noble species and your soft, kind efforts to move bees to a safe space is so wonderful and brave.
It’s nice how she calms the bees with her voice
Without bees the world dies I love what you do your amazing 😍
I just love that you are so compassionate and that you imagine how the bees are feeling when working with them.
You are amazing . With people like you , Humanity has a good future .
Always calm and relaxing in the way you handle your bees. Glad you are on KZhead.
Such a Lovley person your parents were blessed. From UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧
You are such a Goddess of the Bees. They love you and and your soft, kind, sweet vibration.
Being respectful of their hard work.... you're amazing! and so calm! Wonderful work you're doing, and a great channel to learn from! Thank you!
Wow!! You are amazing and kind!! You are literally saving us humans while you are saving the Bees!! I have learned so much about Bees because of you! Your technique is so calming and soothing to listen to.. And I am positive that the Bees you save are thinking that this human who is helping them is, "Bee-Youtiful" ❤❤ Thank you for sharing this with the Whole World!! ❤❤
you are awesome bee lady. I have always been intrigued by bees. last fall i was camping and a bee (yellow jacket) came in, so I put a bit of honey on the edge of my cupboard and the bee went right to it. Soon he (?) left but returned and all day he made a dozen trips. It was getting colder and I bet He was a hero when he showed up at the hive lol the next day it was back , and had a couple buddies in tow. As I would dab the honey on the cupboard they would excitedly gather some up , hover at the door of my camper, I let them out , they would leave for 15 minutes or so, then there they would be, hovering outside the door ready for another load. this happened for the next couple days, until snow fell. I videoed them landing on my honey-covered fingertip and doing the little vibration dance , as if to thank me. It was relaxing and I enjoyed watching them. and providing the last treat of the summer
This was amazing to watch! I have long wanted to start beekeeping and this was totally inspiring.
Your voice is so soothing. It reflex how you work with the bees. I am amazed at how much the bees respect you and allow you to help them. That has to be a rare talent.
Thank you Bee Angel! ❤
This is the only channel I’ve seen where you treat the bees as colleagues or even pets vs livestock. For example, you use exactly as much smoke as needed rather than drenching them in it.
You are a perfect bee keeper young lady…I look forward to your channel….historically, there have been persons who were recognized to have your qualities..especially in England and Europe….they were highly respected
I wish millions of people were bee keepers like you sweetheart because I love the love and sweet honey!
I just love your tone of voice and story telling. You have a beautiful gift thank you for sharing and keep the videos coming. Bless you and the 🐝
Thank you so much for watching and for your thoughtful comment! I feel like the luckiest person in the world to get to do what I love every day, and I really appreciate folks like you supporting me here online. The bees and I have a lot more coming soon!
Do you talk to the bees as you remove them and put them into frames? I do swarm captures and easy bee removal jobs in South Australia. I always talk to the bees. Sometimes it's not enough to keep them calm but it does help.
Bees scare my mom, but bees are amazing and you save them! Your really good of taking care of bees.
I absolutely love your channel. You are a perfect bee advocate. Thankyou
Thank you for your service and care!!
When I watch these videos it reminds me of my father when I was growing up. God rest his soul. We had 1 hive that always ran amok and swarmed in the pear tree next store. He also did exactly what your doing.
A “Bee Charmer” . It’s a gift. Thankyou
Would love to see something on how you got interested in BEES . You make it so interesting. Thank you for helping the bees.
These videos NEVER get old every single one fascinating
I love this videos. Always so interesting. Good job on your awesome beekeeping.
Thank you so much!
I love your videos and find them a rare combination of calm narration and genuine care. They have a wonderful meditation quality.
It’s really interesting and I love the calming lower register you speak in its great. ❤
You make bees interesting.
Love your narration ❤️

TexasBeeworks??? I have shared some of your videos....a friend of mine up here in Maine who is a Bee keeper shared them too....NOW HE HAS A COURSE ON BEE KEEPING WITH 45 LOCAL PEOPLE WHO LOVE WHAT YOU DO.....WELL DONE♥️🐝♥️🐝♥️🐝
I’m doing a beekeeping course next month here in England, beekeeping is something I’ve always wanted to do, so at the ripe old age of 34 I can’t wait to get started! 🙂

An incourage me aswell to do these kinda job... Keep uploading these kinda videos so that we could learn how to treat with these insects .... ❤️
I think you're just terrific and I thank you for your service to all of nature. It's a service to humans as well. Thank you.
I love watching you relocate the bees. How many bee boxes do you have? Where did you learn to do your work? What do you do with the bees? How often are you stung? Thank you for a wonderful video. Your care and compassion show.
I looked her up because I was curious too. From what I see... she has about 50 boxes (hives) in an apiary behind her house
@@bethannprather1462 I can’t imagine 50 hives. A small squirt bottle of honey lasts me 3 years. I really love her calm demeanor and it is obvious that she is passionate about saving the bees. Thank you for replying to my questions. I appreciate your help. I still want to know how many times she has been stung. Have a great day.
@@WBS-WingRider-CO you too
Beeutiful! Your appearance on JRE is one of my favorites Aloha🤙🏽
love when you say, "was another day of saving the bees"
Excellent! I enjoyed learning about "The Bees" very much. It is always good to learn.
Watching your videos for some reason just makes me feel good.
She is the cutest baby b
Thank you for the work that you do. Bees are so important
I think you're wonderful. Thanks so much for your so very, very important & vital work.
I’m always blown away by you. It’s really amazing what you do to save the bees. I understand that they are not aggressive, but how do they not interpret you cutting their hive as something they need to defend against?
The bees are not normally aggressive. A hive will attack IF the other bees are being killed, and the send out a distress hormone that signals the other bees to attack. She is not killing anyone. Cutting the hive does not hurt the bees. They dont view that in a "human" way. They are bees, not people who jump to conclusions.
❤ I love watching you move the bees over to their new hive. You were so gentle and they seem so content.
i like that you take care and it shows the bees respect you too ☺
That sweet voice makes you Queen of the Bees
I am like in hypnosis to Listen and watching you working with the bees. I can images how the bees are the same ❤
I just strongly admire your work ethic and philosophy on removing hives and love your utmost respect towards bees. I get nervous around bees and basically any bug, lol. Even hearing the buzzing sounds in your videos makes my neck hair rise and skin crawl, but my views on bees have changed thanks to your videos. I'm so fascinated by bees now and had no idea the real function of honey for the hive until watching your videos. I'm grateful for the delicious honey in my pantry and will be a more conscientious buyer the next time I'm shopping for honey.
She scoops them.. by hand. That’s not something just anyone can do. That’s not something even many people can do. For many reasons.. Of all the words that come to mind the most fitting.. is admiration. I hope she finds the fulfillment in her profession that she deserves 🇺🇸
Great video. I am with all your other fans. You rock. Thank you for saving such an important piece of the eco system. Continued success and thanks for sharing. Love PegEgg
You know, I can't bring myself to sing 'bringing home my baby bumblebee' to my class anymore, since I hardly ever see them. You are doing good work, thank you.
U are my #1 BEEZZZZ RESCUER. I've seen others MEN and they are so harsh in removing the COLONY. I WAS APPOLED! THEY WERE DOING FOR VIEWS. IT TAKES A WOMAN TO HANDLE SUCH DELICATE BEEZZZZ. I ONLY WATCH U THANK U FOR HELPING OUR PLANET. 😘 WEST PALM FL 🇺🇸
It's always a great day of saving the BEES 🎉🎉🎉❤❤

I saw you on tiktok, and finally I found you in short clip in youtube! I already subscribed you and love your all hard works to taking care of gentle bees!
You do great work. So interesting and educational.
I find the way you do this and the respect that you show for these bees to be extraordinary. I am moved by how gently you do what you do. Bless you for that and thank you.
you are a saint with bee's.. thank you for your hard work with them..
Do you ever get stung or have aggressive hives? I think it would be interesting to see how you handle bees that are extremely aggressive since people do come in contact with them.
You are Amazing. I love how you are so patient, loving and caring towards to Bees ❤️❤️❤️❤️
God bless male bees 🐝 and female bees 🐝 forever ♥
Another day in the life of a Bee-utiful bee keeper ❤
I'd love to see a video where you move the bees from the travel hive into a permanent hive!
