A Hive Full of Baby Bees

Bees built a hive under the cover of a backyard fire pit and I was called to remove them. This was a small colony, but as I started to remove their hive I found that they had a super strong queen and the hive was full of baby bees! I had to work as slowly and carefully as I could to keep the baby bees safe, find the queen and get all the bees into the new hive.
Stay tuned for a lot more bee videos coming soon to KZhead!!!

  • you are awesome bee lady. I have always been intrigued by bees. last fall i was camping and a bee (yellow jacket) came in, so I put a bit of honey on the edge of my cupboard and the bee went right to it. Soon he (?) left but returned and all day he made a dozen trips. It was getting colder and I bet He was a hero when he showed up at the hive lol the next day it was back , and had a couple buddies in tow. As I would dab the honey on the cupboard they would excitedly gather some up , hover at the door of my camper, I let them out , they would leave for 15 minutes or so, then there they would be, hovering outside the door ready for another load. this happened for the next couple days, until snow fell. I videoed them landing on my honey-covered fingertip and doing the little vibration dance , as if to thank me. It was relaxing and I enjoyed watching them. and providing the last treat of the summer

    @billb9177@billb9177 Жыл бұрын
    • The bees are not normally aggressive. A hive will attack IF the other bees are being killed, and the send out a distress hormone that signals the other bees to attack. She is not killing anyone. Cutting the hive does not hurt the bees. They dont view that in a "human" way. They are bees, not people who jump to conclusions.
