Noticed that the shield wasn’t doing damage when being shot at. Not bullets reflecting back like before.
Goddamn, dice really said “i dont know what bf you guys want so you guys make the bf you want”. I am so hyped for this.
This could, if done right, potentially be an all on one battlefield solution where every subdivision of the fanbase is happy.
I think Dice should introduce a system where s server stays online if like 5000 are having it marked as a favourite. Like that, popular servers can be recognised as those and get like a premium treatment.
This is honestly the aspect I'm most excited for in the game. And even then, it could just be BF3 v BF3 and I'd still be stupid happy
I can't wait to see if people try to make "realistic" modes with accurate bullet drop that make players play like its arma or squad....would be fun
I just want to acknowledge how big this can be. I've never heard of this level of community control. I'm really rooting for this because it has the potential to be industry shaking.
To emphasize the scale of the maps in this game, note that full-scale Caspian Border is considered a medium sized map.
Seeing the 24/7 Arica RUSH preset server brought a tear to my eye.

Maybe I’m weird for this, but knowing all these options makes me most excited for an ultra realism mode with one shot kill and instant death, no sliding, etc. i cannot stress how excited I am for this game and these features

This feels like the “love letter to battlefield fans” they were talking about. So excited for this.
I pray and hope this will be it, this will be THE Battlefield experience everyone has been waiting for.

I really don't care whats happening with "main" game. This mode is huge and its definitely worth buying the game just because of it!
This is DICE's equivalent of saying "everyone's here"
The fact that the Experiences that you can build looks like Scratch is something that makes me kinda happy. I started learning programming with Scratch, and this would not only be a good way for people to be able to edit Portal and have fun, but also get more into programming, even though this is more simple, it's a amazing stepping stone :D
Can't believe I'll be playing Rush on Valparaiso and Arica Harbor again, I would have loved to see Seine Crossing too. Are there any plans to introduce further maps down the line?
