  • We have to respect our elders in Islam. That's mandatory. And as a coach, you are like a teacher. And among the elders, teachers respect is even higher. Theres a proverb in our culture/religion, parents gives you birth, but the teachers makes you human being.

  • Teachers in Muslim cultures tend to be looked at and respected as father or mother figures, and mothers and fathers demand respect in any Muslim house. Coach being the teacher in his gym is like a father figure to these guys. You will very rarely hear these Dagestani call the coach or talk about him by his name. That's deeply ingrained respect for family hierarchy. If any of these even slightly get out of line, his brothers will smack him back in line. Respect for family hierarchy and order are part of Muslim cultures.

  • Islam encourages manners and good character and ettiquette. Sadly this is no longer taught in the West in any kind of institution like it is in the Islamic world. Maybe in the West some decent families may teach it but morals is mainly the responsibility of the family and that can be a mixed bag, whereas in Muslim countries every institution encourages it from the families, to the schools and masjids. In the West the concept of respecting your elders seems like its dying out

  • West philosophy is we all are equal. Now they changing it to man can be women and wise versa. For us muslims we are not equal - i mean equal in the sense if there is achair and i m sitting on it and an elder person comes i will stand up to offer him seat. He coz he is equal will be respected and everone has a role. The children are loved, teenager works or serve elder and obey . Our parenst take responsibility and our elder teach us about right path. They love us especially the young ones and we love and respect them. Now coz society is focussed on love adn respect. Women are not touched or seen as object and women do not display themselves to others we gget a nice loving community. Thats why when we say elders are supposed to be respected peope in.west question that it is not always right as in their society hookup culture, dating and equality - to become more shameless than other si celebrated and when a perosn gone through this kind of life he instantly doesn't become good when he grew older that why in west u havr pedophiles, old people who are really evil. Well coz of west fundamental beliefs its make socity such a shit that than you cannot even be good as you don't know how good or bad is other person. Thus no respect, no honour no actual love. Only love they have is displayee on sovial media with music to show how hood their life is going and than they break up amd nothing. Ther heart is never at peace thats why they do alcholo, party etc. Its all cycle one thing leads to other the music, love, lust, padty, heart break, frustration , bad relationship with family , drugs , addiction, even money.
