Well *actually* considering the subtle discrepancies between the facial features of chimpanzees and BTD6’s primates, there are actually are no chimps in the game
Just to clarify, chimps are actually not monkeys at all, and the monkeys in BTD6 are well established to be monkeys.
Also chimpanzees are apes, not monkeys, so any tower with monkey in the name definitely isn't a chimp and is therefore useable in the challenge.

The Spiffing Brit’s video of him playing btd6 with no monkeys is actually how I got into btd6, because after that video I got recommended Dabloon’s black border monkey meadow speed run video and then the Btd6 also was on sale, and now I’m hooked P.s. before that I never properly played any TD game for more than 1 hour and I was convinced that TD is just not my type of game
same idk what it is, but btd6 is just so hooking, even for people tht don't like TD's (like you and me) idk if it's the simplicity of the core gameplay or the amount of things you can do differently, but it's great

@@juanix9948 As an older Millenial who played a lot of TDs growing up, NK has done an amazing job of balancing both depth of gameplay while raising the skill floor enough that new players can say, "I can do that!" For a TD game, that's super important, because most of them are just way too easy/straightforward or have so much depth that some of the game feels impossible without guides.
I just kinda thought about how much hes changed since the pre btd 6 years. Back then he would talk a lot more negatively, not in a bad way, but just not how he does now. Hes a lot more family friendly.
Pretty sure the YT vids are a lot more sanitized than something like his streams for example

that thing about farming ramping up quickly i get. im personally not the biggest fan of chimps but thats just cause on the harder maps starting is so much more restrictive and i think thats just kinda annoying. usually in non chimps i limit myself to one farm; it still makes stuff a lot easier but i think its a good middle ground between insane cash money and not insane cash money (tho even a single 023 farm can do wonders) also for non monkey towers; i feel like theyre some of my favourite designs. tack zone and super mines look rad a heck; and top and bottom path bomb are also real cool. its a shame tack isnt as useful in this challenge but with super mines and bloon crush its super understandable
If anyone is wondering,the wr for this chalange but with farming is round 228,but that was in balance so the maximum is problably higher

I like him talking about more people joining the community. It just reminds me of why I got into it I remember the first time I played, I didn't see the auto start and had no fun until my bf (who told me to play it in the first place) noticed I was manually starting each round after I was complaining about not being into it and just went "I know why you aren't having fun." Been playing it ever since currently working on black bordering intermediate maps and black bordering all beginner maps lol.
Honestly they need to make the spike factorys hot spikes have somekind of damage or pierce upgrade as it just makes sense

i think you should enable upgrades that turn chimps into not chimps but you shouldnt use the towers unless they are upgraded to non chimps for example a 220 super cant attack but as soon as you upgrade it to 230 you can use it

Ninja Kiwi said that there is a monkey in every tower, idk about the bomb shooter and the spactory, but in Battles 2 there is an idle animation where a monkey comes out, and what good is a house if there is no one to live in it?
It actually makes sense that the TACK ZONE deals less damage than the spike storm considering that they removed the extra THE TACK ZONE M.O.A.B. damage and also, halved it pierce and overall reduced its attack speed, while the spike storm deals extra damage to to the upgrade MOAB SHREDR , and it also its ability covers the entire map, WITH bigger spike piles AND pre-placed spikes , while the TACK ZONE has crappy range and no ability with full map coverage

I believe he's done this before. It was something like "can you beat BTD6 without micro?", which had a few more rules on top of the one you mentioned
if you havent already, try seeing how far each group of monkeys can go, ie how far can primary go and so on

I really like how they structure the first 200 rounds of the game. 1 to 100 is like "Normal Chimps". 100 to 140 is like "Chimps+" with very heavy, but planned round. And 140 to 200 is like "Mega Chimps" where the rounds are extreme and semi-random.

I wouldn't be against a dmg buff in exchange for a price increase on the Tack Zone. It's pretty underpowered now, balanced by the low price. Support towers make it better but on its own it's very underwhelming. Prolly one of my favorite tier 5 towers, so it's a shame to see it be not great.
