Some absolutely amazing new cars have been unveiled over the past few weeks, and we’ve pulled together the very best new announcements in this video!
So let’s take a closer look at what’s been released.
Earlier this week Porsche lifted the lid on the Taycan Turbo GT. It’s the most powerful Porsche production car ever released, pumping out an incredible 1,100hp! That’s more power than a Tesla Model S Plaid, and amazingly, it’s claimed it can hit 60mph in just 2.2 seconds! There’s a catch, though - it’ll set you back at least £186,000. That’s around £90,000 than the Plaid!
It’s also been confirmed that a new Bugatti hypercar is on the way! We don’t have any details on the name yet, or the power figures, but one thing we do know is this all-new V16 engine sounds absolutely epic! We also know that this new Bugatti will come with hybrid tech, so you can bet it’ll pump out more than the 1500hp produced by the Chiron’s W16!
An all-new AMG E53 was also unveiled just this week. This will also come with hybrid tech, which in this instance will see an electric motor mounted inside the gearbox! This will combine with the 3-litre turbocharged straight-six engine to produce 612hp and propel the E53 to 60mph in just 3.8 seconds!
So they’re some pretty special cars, but there are so many more recently unveiled, including an all-electric Charger Daytona, a couple of Rivian EVs, and the all-new ID3 GTX & ID7 GTX Tourer!

@@kasperbj the c63 4cyl has close to zero sales accoridng to insights. It is missing everything the AMG buyer wants. A V8, emotions, sound... replaced by a inefficient 4cyl on steroids that wont go past 100k. The e53 has a solid 6 cyl and hopefully brings back what the consumer wants.

I mean, the fact that the E53 has 610hp is negated by the extra weight. 0-60 is around 4 seconds, a full second slower than the outgoing E63S 💀 Might as well get an RS3 or something at this point - and that will sound better too.

Yeah, no way the 0-60 will be 4 sec for the new E53 especially with the updated 4Matic. Not saying it'll be 3.0 seconds, but will likely land in the mid 3 sec range.

You are not so smart because you are comparing the Porsche to a car that costs half as much. In his price tag the Model S Plaid simply outclass everything else
2 completely different cars, Plaid is 90k and Porsche closer to 300k and ironically Taycan GT is basically only better in going around track (quite a bit tho) - Plaid is much more practical, much more comfortable and luxurious (air suspension, the fact that it actually has interior) and from what I've seen Porsche needs even more power to compete in a straight line because their dual speed transmission is the dumbest thing ever in an EV (Plaid is so fast because it uses those SpaceX designed carbon wrapped motors which basically do not lose torque with speed increase)... So sorry but statements like yours here are basic and confusing, almost reminded me of samsung fan boys

It's revealed the new M5 will pack over 730hp on paper and launching this year and though not featured on this review. ..I ask is it the heading is misleading or referring to the older models of M5
I think probably the non competition version, because the f90 m5 has a better power to weight ratio than this new e53
yea and it's also packing on like a 1000 more pounds. The F90 M5 CS will be the pinnacle even with this new generation of hybrid rubbish which just makes an already complicated design that much more so.
even the non competition m5 f90 would absolutely SHIT on an e53 doing 0-100kmh in 3.8. it would barely beat a rwd f10 m5 doing 0-100kmh in 4 sek. @@dogwithkatana485

You forgot to mention the Taycan Turbo GT has only 2 electric motors vs Tesla's 3. Porsche developed an amazing new rear motor for this car. As to the new Bugatti - Mate Rimac has stated in an interview: 16 cylinders, naturally aspirated, 9000rpm, about 1000hp and 1 meter long (!) engine will be coupled with 3x 340hp electric motors - 1 in the rear transmission, 2 on the front axle. Total power at the wheels approx. 1800hp. BTW: that smaller Rivian looks like a Lada Niva! 😬
But the fact is.... It's better than the most Russian cars..
It should be said that if you opt for normal Taycan Turbo GT, you don't get the aero but you get rear seats. They are only deleted as a part of a Weissach package.
Deleting backseats? Deleting soundproving and climate controll? The things Porsche has to do to make their sportscar faster than the proper 4 seats family sedan from Tesla. 😂

@@Maarten_vdEven with rear seats and soundproofing, it's still lightyears faster than the Tesla around a track. Porsche also doesn't force you to get rid of all creature comforts, they just offer you the no-cost option to do so if you want to, so there's no downside to it. No matter how you try to spin it, this is both a better and faster car than the Model S.

The C63 S is the competition for the M3 or M4. The E53 goes against the M550i. The E63 S will go against the M5 when it comes out. By the way Mercedes is conservative with times. The E53 will be faster than 3.8. @@user-my4xu4gf1z
The E53 isn't the foil for the M5. That would be the upcoming E63. I keep hearing different hp numbers for the car. I've heard the top hp is 603 in its sportiest setting (576 hp in "normal" setting).

@@senorgato70 While I agree with you, that having a c63 but no e63 doesn´t seem to make a lot of sense, unfortunately it is still true. There won´t be an e63. As multiple car Magazines reported back in August of 2023, AMG employees ruled out 8 cylinders for future c and e-class models. Also, by now there would be testing vehicles on the road, but there isn´t a single one.
Watched Engineering explained's video about the Bugatti engine. I too believe it probably won't be more powerful than the quad turbo because it sounds like an n/a engine that revs high. It's gonna use the hybrid tech from rimac and the combined output should be around 2000hp. Because the difference between the chiron and veyron was around 500hp and now koenisegg's gemera has 2300hp

The Bugatti V16 is by far the biggest news in this. Really curious to see the car - which looks like it will still be mid-engined. The Mercedes E53 looks great - apart from the weird rear lights. The new Charger also looks great, but the slightly different dimensions than the concept is odd. The twin-turbo straight-6 is cool though, more interesting than the EV. The Rivian R2 looks like a smaller R1S - like the Disco Sport to the normal Disco. The R3 and R3X are awesome! It looks like a modern version of the Mk1 Golf and Lancia Delta mixed together.

The fact that even a fresh new V16 Bugatti needs a hybrid battery setup to compete with EVs performance speaks volumes about where vehicle technology is going whether you like it or not.

Rivian are putting out the most simplistic yet striking cars of any current automaker. Doubly impressive considering they're a fairly recent start-up. Although the R1T and R1S might prove to be a bit too large for european roads, that hatchback could be a top seller, if it also comes over.

@@ImanSengupta2102The Model S Plaid , which is much bigger than the Taycan and can comfortably seat 5 people (the Taycan in the video could only seat 2) is still faster than the new Taycan lmao. It completed the same track, Laguna Seca raceway, in 1:26. The new Taycan did it in 1:27. Did I mention the Tesla is nearly 5 years old?

I can understand a “purist” complaining about a full electric. But a hybrid is simply perfect. You get the traditional noise, and no power gaps thanks to the electrical engine.
I disagree. Try the new C63 and you will understand.
Traditional noise isn't the case for all hybrids. Especially when u take account the space needed for the electrical motors and batteries, so in most cases you are bond to downgrade the engine. Just take the new c63s as an example. At least Mercedes didn't call the new hybrid e63 and named it e53 instead and im glad it's an i6 rather than the i4.

As someone in sales at BMW in the states: The new M5 will use the same 4.4 TT V8+electric combo used in the flagship 2024 XM Red Label which is the first BMW to come stock with 700+ HP.. Given this will be put in the much lighter M5 it will probably be in the low 2 second range.. my guess is real 0-60 between 2.4-2.6 seconds.
The new M5 is going to be heavier than current gen. It’s already been leaked.

I wish Porsche would have an option with the weissach package to keep the rear seats but have everything else because if I got one I would want the rear seats but still have the wing and other stuff and I wish it went 200mph and not 190mph and I personally hate that the charger replacement doesn’t have the hemi V8 and that they’re killing that off they are going to lose a ton of sales because of that

Crazy Porsche Good Kit Good Job Porsche. The AMG looks nice as well. The automotive industry is evolving nicely into this new generation of technology and electric ERA. Glad am living to see this evolution in my lifetime 😍.
The taycan is not that expensive. The car is only 2 seconds slower than a 3 million $ rimac nevera on the nurb and during the lap, the attack mode was not available in the big straight so the car lost a few seconds ( so the car could in theory be faster than the rimac ) And it’s even faster than the model S plaid Pikes Peak ( which was on slick tires) on laguna seca
