    • @@Blowloudpack6996 I have both rc cars, and one fpv drone! The fpv is EXTREMELY fun! I find myself using my drone more when I’m in the cities where I live. However, when I’m up north at my grandparents, I use my rc car much more because of the jumps in their back yard, and more room to drive! They’re both fantastic, but the fpv drone is a giant learning curve, but great hobby to get into if you like rc cars!

    • He did make a far more expensive one than he needed. The HD FPV system is the bit that he spent a lot more on than he needed. You can use cheaper and older tech, and have FPV for dirt cheap. We’re talking goggles and camera and video transmitter for under $100. I built my entire setup with a big 4S battery for about £200, and that included a controller, goggles and everything else. I guess I could say no tools but that’s it.

    • @@alexhuerta6164 because all of those solder joints are cold. They haven't fully bonded to the contacts on the PCB. During flight, vibrations can easily knock a wire loose, causing a loss of power at the least, a short at worst. Honestly I'm surprised it worked with how shoddy those solder joints are. Cleaning the contacts and the wires with 99.99% isopropyl and applying flux prior to soldering would solve the problem.

  • Can you list the parts please? Also, is it programmable to land by itself on a given coordinates after it comes back? Thanks.

    • Likely uses the betaflight firmware, which cannot land your quad. You'll have to use Inav for that, but it has downsides too

  • My old Parrot 2 was like $300 back then and it could land by itself. Admittedly it only worked for 20mins
