I don’t think that she’s bouncing around because she has too much energy. I think that she is doing her best to get her human to play with her. So precious!
My Havanese was 17 years old when he died and still ran around like a young dog. He could jump up on anything, he was fearless and agile!!
My havanese is almost 15 years old and she's the same way. She wakes up quite stiff but by 4-5pm she's loose and very active.
My mom dog is a small breed. Pomeranian terrier. Fearless and full of energy. I see why people fall in live with these hyper dogs! Very loving and friendly

My girl is ten years old now, and still acts like this, so full of fun and energy. That sudden lay head down thing is totally Havenese. Love this breed, they love you to pieces, and are so smart. A bit hard to potty train but once they get it, they are the best.

We loved our havanese doggy. He was like my best friend. I cant believe he lived to 17 years old. We fed him a lot of pig liver . Eggs. Chicken bones and lots of treats. I bet he's eating in heaven right now. R.I.P Toby.

My havenese baby Pandy Bear Ive had him since he was a baby. This dude is full of energy all the time and plays this same game. I used to take him out without a leash and he would play this game but always stay real close. The other night this dude got out the back gate somehow and little dude came to the front door whining like, “let me in you assholes I live here” 😭 super smart and hell of a character. My bestie forever 🤞🏽❤️

I loved my Havanese boy. He was the sweetest thing. Made to to 13.5 then we had to say goodbye a year ago. He used to bounce around like a little flea, just like this guy.

Just lost my Abby at 13 yrs, near the end, on her good days, she was still like this. In her younger days though, you'd swear you could operate a city block on that much energy.

Havanese are the best dogs. They are so smart and good and sweet. I love this pup’s hair! Both of mine have coarse hair, but they are beautiful nonetheless.

Just yesterday I saw a women in my neighborhood walking her pup and I stopped to ask her what kind he was....a Hav!!!! He was adorable! Thinking hard about one, but did read that they don't like to be left alone for extended amount of time. I'm thinking about going back to work part time (retired Teacher) so not sure.
Honestly it's best to get a dog that can cope with being alone for a long time. Havanese are bred to be with you all the time. They suffer from separation anxiety pretty badly . :0 I have some videos of my own Havanese on my channel
My Havanese has no separation anxiety at all. Maybe I got lucky?

Please consider adopting before buying. Havanese Rescue Inc. (HRI) has volunteers and dogs throughout the country. Also check a group on facebook Havanese Lovers Rescue & Networking Forum. You have to ask to become a member, but they search for Havanese in shelters and rehome opportunities thoroughout the country and do all the hard work in finding them for you. All you have to do is be a good home and apply to each individual rescue that has the dog you are looking for and adopt. Purebred does not exclude them from being dumped. Also an occasional breeder will give one of their retired breeders to a rescue for placement. You'd be shocked just how many are out there for rescue. I just flew to MS to pu our 6 yo adopted Havie girl who was a champion retired breeder. #adoptdontshop #youcangetwhatyouwantifyoulook #bepersistent

He is so cute! When mine was that age I would take him to the puppy run to play with the other dogs for about an hour and that did the trick. When he came home he slept like a baby for the rest of the day! It was like murder though before we got to the dog run!

We always babysit these dogs and they will give you puppy eyes after rubbing there stomach and if. That doesn't work they will bite you it doesn't hurt tho
