After the Oilers blew a 4-1 lead in Game 1 of their series against the Canucks on Wednesday, head coach Kris Knoblauch says Leon Draisaitl is day-to-day now alongside Adam Henrique.
As an Oiler fan this was abysmal...If you can't hold a 3 goal lead in a playoff game after almost half the game has been played you're not a contender. Congrats to the Canucks on the come-back, they deserved it and were the much better team. We're like the Leafs of the west...and now that Drai is injured we're likely effed. Edit: "Cramping and equipment issues"...LOL gaslight us some more why don't you?
Dont lose hope that’s easily we are nothing like the Leafs and we have the #1 player in the world
its caused i switched to the oilers. I brought the fail. Im sorry.
Sounds like King Leon needs a bottle of Midol and a roll of Gorilla Tape.
Yeah you live in your parents basement
you aint a fan Bucky. lets go oilers
Haven't seen a single video about how the Canucks played a good game. Actually haven't seen ANY Vancouver coverage from tsn at all about the Canucks. It has only been how the Oilers did. Only thing you've shown is Rick talking about McDavid... which has nothing to do with how the Canucks played. Dog sports network.
because the oilers just played very bad. it had nothing to do with the canucks. couple of lucky goals and missed calls and it was an unfortunate throw
@@mithex8414 ok well the canucks defence and goaltending weren't good for us either. Ceci and Hyman goals were lucky
Did we watch the same game?
@@Peilla Apparently not if you can't understand how the Canucks rallied to get the win
Cope and seethe
Its early but I'm salivating at the thought of canucks vs rangers finals.
would be another riot
JT Miller revenge tour I'm down for it
At this rate, the NHL will probably schedule the Rangers to play game 1 of the final before any of the other 2nd round series are over.
For Leon to be day to day tells me it’s rather serious. Enough so that even if plays, he’s playing hurt. Canucks will target him hard.
with the injured draisaitl, the canucks now have a real chance to advance to the next round with the canucks' incredible scoring depth that can generate goals on the 3rd and 4th line, i'm afraid oilers found themselves facing their worst playoff match in vancouver
They had a real chance against a fully healthy oilers team. Stop pretending that the oilers are unbeatable. They beat the fully healthy oilers team without demko. Before you say it, yes drai was having issues at the end of the second but he still played through it; its a part of hockey. Hughes was labouring something too.
Cool, have fun getting smoked by dallas or avs
The Canucks always had a real chance. Putting aside any actual numbers, it's the NHL playoffs. Even overwhelming favorites will lose like 30-40% of the time. I agree that an injury to Draisaitl helps their chances, but that might be negated by goaltending problems. And that goes for both teams. There were probably 4-6 goals in that game that probably should have been saves. Assuming that the team play in general evens out (as usual), the biggest factor could be whether or not either goalie can bounce back or, in the Canucks' case, return from injury.
Lets goooo
imagine being happy about someone being injured
Bottom line: Edmonton are over-hyped and consistently ride the coattails of 1 player.
Wrong. They consistently ride the coattails of 2 players.
Wrong 3 players!
Oilers still trying to grasp handling and managing success.... up 4-1 and no levers to push.
This oiler coach is not honest
Coach’s are never honest in playoffs
Mind games.
What...you don't buy that Draisitl's day-to-day with equipment issues???
Out day to day with cramping and equipment issues lol
No way the Canucks win if Leon doesn't get hurt, he was flying out there, had 2 nice assists, he was engaged and I just don't think the Oilers give up enough goals to lose. Let's go DRAISAITL 🇩🇪!
I'm a Canucks fan but I hope Draisaitl is ok. He's an amazing player. If we don't win I will be cheering for the Oilers. Let's go Canucks!
I'm hoping he has a speedy two week recovery.
@@nobuddy2012 Absolutely lol!
Skinner just isn't a Stanley Cup goalie. Unreliable, inconsistent, and too many boneheaded decisions playing the puck. A three goal lead with a period to go should require a helluva lot more offensive fireworks from the opponent to steal a game than that.
Boo hoo. The Canucks are playing their third string goalie, and Pettersson might as well be out injured.
Karma is a wonderful thing.😂
