Strong man VS Climber - Who has stronger grip? The Norwegian Hulk

  • The oldest climber I ever climbed with was a 80 year old woman from the British mountaineering club - the mid 1990s. She climbed harder than me, was fearless, and pushed my limits as a second when she climbed past the length of the belay rope, requiring addition of every sling, and line I had within reach in my kit. On a route that was definitely not suited to both of us off the ground. Then after my own heart, she down climbed to her previous clip point 35m below her top out, before abseiling off. This was adventure climbing, and she had chosen a route none have repeated to this day.

Heck, I think he could teach me climbing. And I'm scared of hights. And I really likes how he teases you at about minute 20, that the Spanish guy might actually be better than you - not sure if he realized at that moment - but still he's still you best friend while also your drill instructor. Yes he wasn't the fastest but oh man that old man made the 6a i really struggled with before look easy.
