    @ThePageTurnerPT@ThePageTurnerPT3 жыл бұрын
    • Two ways both can be true: 1. Steve/Alex can use energy at high efficiency. However, they cannot retain any of it. i.e. once fully grown, their Feed Ratio becomes *infinite.* No matter how much they eat, no usable energy can be absorbed from them. (Also, if they don't eat, their energy drops to zero as they swiftly starve...) 2. Stevelex is a rare/unique entity. Everything else obeys entropy (or some equivalent principle.) The above options probably aren't mutually exclusive.

  • The beginning reminded me of how awesome the D&D Underdark would be in Minecraft. Also, there are literally oceans of evidence (in the form of lava in the Nether) that imply there is enough geothermal energy to keep all that lava really hot. And it's possible that the geothermal power is what keeps the Netherblocks (Syblocks but in the Nether) floating. In addition, my friend and I came up with the "terraforming" idea a while ago with an important supplement being new species of fungus based on the sculk stuff... Not just that but many quartz colorations (green, pink, yellow) are caused by iron impurities. With nether quartz appearing to be slightly pink when in nether quartz ore, it's safe to say that there are at least trace amounts of iron wherever you find nether quartz. Also, you find skeletons and fossils in the soul sand valleys... who's to say the area isn't made of fossilized fungi and decaying animal meat from an ancient era? That would make it quite healthy, and maybe the ancient fungus had caps resembling wailing faces. That would scare some creatures away! And MATPAT YOU FORGOT TO SAY "BUT THAT'S JUST A THEORY"

  • I still think of the Nether being under the overworld, but even if it was, it's still completely secluded by unbreakable bedrock. Even if somehow, something gets through, above is just deepslate, which can easily be assumed is harder than stone since it takes much longer to break. So, there's probably no practical way to have energy and nutrients coming in from the overworld. No idea if that's how that works, but it's just a thought.

Geothermal plants use a ton of heat, sure, but in order for that to be converted to USEFUL energy it needs to heat something ELSE. In most plants that's water but that's obviously a no-go in the Nether. Fossil fuels don't work either since they don't exist in the Nether. • Hi Matt! I have a theory to propose. What if... The player got infected with a parasite that made the player go insane, the player gained powers to fly and manifest items on demand (now known as creative mode). He saw his species as evil and planned to kill them all (explains abandoned structures), the others fled in to the end, hoping for safety, they built battle ships with creatures that lift things only to destroy them, but they were found. They got punished, they transormed in to ugly, tall creatures that were once them (now known as endermen). The player made a dragon to keep the prisoners there and locked the portal, but now the parasite was meeting the end of it's life. The parasite made sure this player won't see the structures of his kind, The parasite destroyed every structure there was, but before he could finish the job... You wake up, in a new world, having lost your memory, your language, your people, you try to make sense of what was happening, you only remember the trip to the underworld before fading and going black. You make tools, wandering around the world, seeing the villages occupied by a less advance species, but some structures looking familiar too you. You see monsters, seeking revenge from their creator, attacking you with all their might, they look like you, still wearing the armour they had before you cursed them to travel the world with one goal, kill the player. As you advance, you notice the fortress, a labyrinth you made to keep you from reuniting what's left of your kind. You put the final keys in place, destroying the spawner filled with worms that suck your health out of you... You enter.. The rest it up to you Thank you

No disease is going to keep a pile of bones floating around. You'd need magic to do that. Here's a quote from the Mobestiary, " Some have proposed that skeletons are ancient adventurers raised from death by an evil sorcerer." In the game Minecraft Dungeons there is a group of ancient necromancers who live in a desert temple. They have blue glowing eyes (the color of souls) and when they summon skeletons, you can see small blue souls float away from the summoning area. They even shoot soul fire blasts! But why are they themselves undead? Maybe because when they (or some other humans) summoned the wither, they noticed that it doesn't attack undead things, and they turned themselves undead to protect themselves. I hope you read this!

Steve was created by the evoker and illagers because they have the type of wool that steve has on him, and they can control life and death so they were trying to create an intelligent species but they kept making zombies that's why zombies have the same clothes as us so they finally created the player. The reason why the player can respawn is that the player has a stronger totem of undying that can't be destroyed. Idk how he has it on him but he does. • While many have asked if the lava could be useful, it actually raises even more questions. While lava in Minecraft seems to be a lot cooler than real lava, it still must be pretty hot. But, the thing is the lava in the nether must be cooling down for the same fundamental reasons, namely that heat would slowly leak out into the void around the nether. So, how is that lava still flowing? Why has it not cooled to stone and rock? One answer is that something is using souls to keep it hot.

      @PhoenixTwoFiftySix@PhoenixTwoFiftySix2 жыл бұрын
    • @@PhoenixTwoFiftySix I guess thats a point but theres a major issue with it. That still requires water for the proper organism to be able to harness it and well water just don't work in the never. As well as the fact that it's still a lossful system. There will never be more energy it'll continue to leak out. The bottoms of the ocean get their thermal energy from the crust of the earth via vents yeah. But first Water's the main reason it works. It's high heat-capacity means it can absorb a lot of energy. And second If you observe the structure of the nether, a little known detail comes into view. The ground itself is NOT stone the nether itself is a living organism. Meaning that heat is specifically waste heat, and from what I've seen. Theres no hints at even an organism that could harness the heat. Even if there was, theres no such thing as 100% energy conversion which is what would be necessary to sustain such an environment. Theres literally only one single event where 100% energy conversion happens in the universe. And thats after a massive amount of loss. That being the matter that gets crushed into a singularity. All that matter that is compressed past it's Swartzchild radius converts 100% but it still wastes way more of it's energy to be compressed. No natural organic life in any sense could evolve 100% conversion.

    • One thing to keep in mind (either way wheter the energy comes from souls or geothermal energy) is that while souls could be a 100% efficient source (or drift into it from outside the dimension) its just not required for it to be 100% efficient I mean yes at some point the nether would become lifeless without a 100% Efficiency but the same is true for The overworld and even in realitie at some point earth as a example is just going to be out of energy (due to the sun not being unlimitet) That still does not mean life refuses to form there cause it knows that at some point it will end As for where the energy comes from if not from overworld travelers using portals to enter it Well probably from whatever createt it (Wheter it was some god magic or whatever) And as for sustaining it As people mentioned there could be radiactive decay as well as it being a massive space that would continue underneath the bedrock (otherwise gravitie wouldnt make sense either since a Huge plate simply would not have this kind of Gravitie and once agein the same should be true for the overworld) Sure many of the things might not have ingame clues (atleast directly with indirect things like gravitie still pointing to it) but in the end there is a limit for how much we can find ingame (Not to mention the problems createt if you would want to create it the way its meant to truly be)
