  • In the 662 round between Jon and Paul, it was also possible to just multiply all the numbers except 10 and then subtract by the remaining 10: 7 x 6 x 4 x 2 x 2 = 672 672 - 10 = 662 And in the round where Joe tried to solve an impossible problem, the closest you could get is 561: 25 x 2 = 50 50 + 1 = 51 4 x 3 = 12 12 - 1 = 11 51 x 11 = 561 This is almost certainly how Rachel got one away. Finally, since the 949 round went without a solution at least in this video (Sarah Millican and Alan Carr), and it's a bit difficult, here's one potential solution: 75 x 6 = 450 50 + 6 = 56 56 x 9 = 504 504 + 450 = 954 954 - 5 = 949

    • @@reececollison5101 She's only supposed to write down one way to do it, not every way. Also your way is the exact same but in a different order: (7+5)*6*2*4 vs (7+5)*2*6*4, so even if she was supposed to write multiple ways of doing it she wouldn't write yours because it is already the same. Also 72*8 is easier to do in your head than 24*24, so your order makes less sense.

  • 50x10, which is 500. 500+100, 600. 5x5 is 25. Subtract 600 from 25, you get 575. Add the 4, boom.

  • I figured out the hard one with the two 1's the 2 and 3 and 4 and 25. You do 25-1=24 then use the 2 and square it for 576 then add the 1 and 3 for 4 then it's 4×4=16 -> 576-16=560
