The Dell Alienware 610m Wired/Wireless Gaming Mouse is available in both white (Lunar Light) or black (Dark Side of the Moon).
This video is my honest review. Included in the review is the unboxing, product specifications and a "click sound test".

Got this mouse and my favorite part is definitely the wings, makes it so comfortable to hold compared to every other mouse I’ve used
Nice, great to hear it
The USB Adapter is used with an extender cable for the USB dongle in case you are not getting very good wireless reception, it allows you to run the cable up closer to the mouse and plug the USB dongle into it giving it closer USB Bluetooth range.
Ah, excellent - makes sense. That's good to know. Cheers
is it a usb-c to usb-a cable or the mouse is attached by micro-usb? thank you 🙏🏼
@@thisisalain The cable they provide "normally" fits both, the USB dongle and into the mouse so you can charge it, normally you can also have the mouse connected to the cable to use the mouse while it charges. A Dongle that has a USB-c and USB-a, has them both so it can connect to the USB port on the computer or the cable as a range extender, in theory, you can also buy a very long cable like 30 feet that has a USB-c and USB-a which would allow you to extend the range that distance if you use it with the dongle, if you chose to do that. Limited voltage may play a factor in this.
Can this mouse work on windows 11?
@@basicando5276 The 610 was my son's, he used it on Windows 10 for a few years until it started having some issues or he wanted a different one not sure, I think he wanted more buttons, my only info for hands on. On the Dell Site Drivers "KZhead would not allow the link". I checked the full driver details on all drivers listed and went to the Supported Operating Systems. Windows 11 is listed. Personally, if new and have not bought one. Most stores have a return policy, normally 2 to 4 weeks. Personal Preference, I never buy anything used for computers..
Great informative and concise review! Thank you.
Cheers, thanks for watching
Did you test out battery life in wireless mode please?
Can we change the denounce time of the mouse????
Should I get this or glorious model o wireless 🤔
Should i get a razer viper ultimate or alienware 610m?
Great video, very informative. Would have liked to have known a little more about the software, considering Corsair's Icue software now sits at a meaty 735MB big now. Obscene right?
Thanks for watching and for the feedback, I appreciate it :). Have a great day
The ribbed side buttons remind me either of alien spaceships or dinosaur skin. Or maybe alien dinosaurs lol
For sure
Can I use this mouse wired without the dongle?
This mouse looks awesome
Yes I agree, the black and white looks really good, I prefer over the dark color one
It is....like...for real
Honestly, I'm a bit mixed on this one as I have a much more expensive mouse that in all reality is very functional and all around and that being the logitech superlight, however I wouldn't ever consider this mouse until I tried one in a store and even though it's heavy it fill more adaptive to my hand and the click just makes it feel like a smart mouse despite it being on the cheaper end. However, If I bought one for home use my opionion might change over time. Sometimes things look really nice at first but then lose there glamour over time. Verdict = mixed!
mine is disconecting randomly. i have the latest alienware command center. please help here. :(
Very candid description, I'm considering this mouse, I'm not a heavy duty gamer type but performance is important. Good video and I'll be watching
Thanks 👍
Please don't get this mouse. There are so many better options for cheaper
@@Trengar23 I definitely appreciate your response, what's your recommendation? I have a Dell computer already and it's Alienware. At your convenience of course
@@ronaldwatson1951 of course. If your trying to game you could probably get an endgame gear xm1r for about 60 bucks. And for a more expensive premium option I'd consider possibly getting a Razer viper ultimate or a g pro x super light both around 150 dollars. And for a cheap budget option there is the Razer viper mini for around 30 bucks or less on amazon
@@Trengar23 Thanks, I'm in the mid grade budget for sure. I'll look into those mouse products and they should be compatible with my Alienware computer. Hopefully I'll be able to invest 40 hours a week into gaming. That's what I'm anticipating. Thanks for your response 👍
Over all, do you think I should keep this mouse, or do you think I should buy something else like a Bloody A70 instead?
I think it comes down to personal preference, Either could get the job done
get bloody, this looks like one of those dell mouses for $2.
I have this mouse but after not even a full year it randomly double clicks :(
That is crap, sorry to hear it, thanks for sharing your experience
The difference in price between the white and grey one seems pretty ridiculous?
100 percent agree
I have large hands, what do you think of the overall sizing of the mouse?
I have this mouse and and it's feels good in my hands. My hands are pretty big, and I don't ever have issues with cramping or discomfort.
@@fabiancouture2590 thank you for the reply bro
Are you satisfied with the product? I'm thinking of getting it too
I personally was not a huge fan of the shape of this one. Depends on your preference, i think the quality was fine
I like this mouse but i have a question can i also use it as a wired mouse or the wire is just for charging
Ah yep you can use it both ways
@@BeforeYouBuyGuy thank you now im definitely getting it
I purchased this mouse and the scroll wheel stopped working properly in 2 years
Mouse is awkward for small hands. A little disappointing but I will try and adjust.
Thanks for sharing your experience
This is one of the most well done reviews I've ever seen where the actual "review" is just disinterested poking at basic mouse stuff. There was SO MUCH you glossed over and all I got was the eerie sensation you were reading from a WikiHow article on ntroducing computer mice to a new sentient species. People looking into this mouse already know what the glides do and have no interest in hearing about how Alienware's software isn't as good as Corsair's software. Tell us about the STRONG points of the software and what it does. Take the time to assess the feel, the balance in weight, and how the specific switch mechanism/microswitches used affect that feel. SHOW US THE COOL STUFF THE SCROLL WHEEL DOES, DON'T FREAKIN' TEASE US WITH TWO DIFFERENT BUTTONS DEDICATED TO ALTERING BEHAVIOR AND SCHMOVE ON!!! hahahaha Sorry for the aggressive feedback. I'm intending it to be silly, but seriously, I was so excited to see that scroll wheel demonstration and I was sad it never happened.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I put a lot of work into the videos and really value the feedback as my channel is small but growing. I read all the comments and I'm working hard to improve
how do i charge this thing, it literally wont charge for me
When you set up the mouse in wired mode, plugged in with the provided usb cable. The battery should start charging automatically. Good luck
Did you ever figure out how ? I have the same problem I can’t charge the mouse
How to chargeeee thissssss
117 gram mouse ? Lol. Wow! Thing reminds me of a 57 Chevy .. if someone is going to spend this kind of money , get a razer deathadder or Logitech GPro / or gpro super light . A dell mouse is not something I would consider for serious gaming .
Bruh my uni uses these and I hate them with a passion
Wtf it's 200 usd? It's way much cheaper now
Often they just have a high price to start with so that it can be marked down. could be the case maybe
Helloo first one
Howdy.
Honestly to me, mouse is mouse
damn alienware lost me at the clicks holy crap theyre loud, im good with logitech mx 3s silent clicks
My guy, make these reviews a bit more interesting and don’t show us what we can see from their website. Show us more close ups of the actual product while you’re fiddling with it, show us the different types of grip on the actual mice, squeeze it, sniff it, scratch it.
Ok yep that's fair. Thanks for the feedback. I am still new to this and working to improve. I am trying to show less of my face and more of the product, that's what the viewer clicked for right? Thanks for watching
@@BeforeYouBuyGuy I wish you success on what you’re doing. I am no expert but I personally want to know how the material feels in your hand, the size of it, different features, and a side to side comparison between similar products would make a massive difference on reviews. Unfortunately the times we live in makes choosing a product kinda hard and we have to “rely” on you guys and your opinion. I know there’s plenty of reviewers that hype the products because they get them for free and want to continue to get products for free, thus getting in to companies back pocket. I’m not trying to school you or anything but watching other reviewers work and finding pros and cons will improve your work. In a years time you’ll be twice as good, keep up the hard work. Peace ✌️
Feels like shit
Returned the minute I opened
Thanks for sharing your experience. Fit and feel of a mouse can be very subjective since it does depend on hand size and shape. I hope you found a better option
117 Gramm, terrible shape... This is the worst mouse i ever saw...
This is not the mouse I would pick, but im sure it is right for some people
@@BeforeYouBuyGuy ther are 100% better mice for less money, with way better Shape, wait, specs, RGB, Software...
@@ZINDRO_KBM there is. But this looks better than all of them
