20 minute chair stretches designed for anyone wanting to stretch from a chair rather than on the floor. These stretching exercises are gentle and safe and suitable for seniors and beginners. After a brief introduction, relaxing music will play and you can follow the instructions written out for you. This is a full body stretch from head to toe.
These stretches cover everything from head to toe. Take 20 minutes to follow the class for pain relief or relaxation and improve your flexibility at the same time.

Jules, I did this last night before bed and was able to get up this morning and make my bed.....something I want to do as soon as I wake up but I'm usually so stiff that I can't until later in the morning......feeling waaay more limber after a restful night....this HAS to be my before bed routine....thank you for a great stretch and quiet music..lovely.

I like the holding position for 30 seconds and that you do the neck last! Many stretch programs do the neck first when it's at its tightest!

Wow, this was wonderful. This slow seated stretch is just what I needed. It really got into some "nooks and crannies" that needed a gentle wake up. I'm dealing with neck/hip/lower back issues (from a car accident) and put in some complaining knees makes many videos undoable for me, so being seated was very helpful for me. I could focus and slow controlled movement, with little worry of "tweaking" something. I do wish the little bell went off with each movement, since sometimes I would just close my eyes. But glad it was there for many of them - it was a nice touch. Thank you for this video.

I'm sometimes afraid of the bell annoying people so I only use it when I feel it's definitely needed, but I think I need to start including it regularly when a stretch is completed. I love your Chair Stretches video for Seniors! I love the music and that you do not talk through the stretches. I have recommended it to a number of my friends. The wonderful thing about this video is that it can also be a form of meditation. The only problem that we have is having to keep our eyes on the tv to know when to change positions. The beeps you have on some the stretches is so helpful in keeping us in that peaceful state of mind. Would it be possible to add that to all the stretches?

These chair exercises help me so much. 4 years out fro a 4th back surgery and still have pain. Making progress with that, so can start exercising. These are perfect for me. Have weak left leg, core and foot drop.
I am so sorry to hear about all the surgeries you have had to have but I am thrilled these seated exercises help and that you are seeing progress. It's great to read you keep moving and persevere.

I've worked with seniors for 18 years and when Covid hit, I felt like a lot of seniors wouldn't feel safe going out (plus gyms and community centers were closed) and I didn't want seniors getting less mobile. Plus, I also didn't find much for seniors online when I looked and I knew it was something I could create and provide. And, I'm not that young...turned 50 last month. My kids tell me I'm old.😉

I'd love to see more sitting stretching videos with audio queues when to switch the pose, such as a little beep, so I can close my eyes and relax during the 30 seconds :) Love your channel!!

I have done this once or twice a day for four days now and really love the relaxing stretches. I also love the quiet music! One tiny suggestion: add the beeps at the end of every exercise so that I can just close my eyes and take it all in. Thanks for getting me stretching again!
Update about my fall two months ago. I am still in some pain. This bruised one takes 4 months to recover from I am told..Ouch!!!!! Along with my physical therapy exercises I am doing your 20 minute stretch video. I find that I get up with a lot of pain and after I do all my exercise and a heating pad I feel better. You are so right, As we age we need to stretch more. You and your videos have been such a help to me. I can't thank you enough.
