This 10 min dance party workout is with no equipment, no squats and no complicated moves. It's also short enough to fit into any day. If you're feeling lethargic in the afternoon, take 10 minutes to do this workout to boost endorphins and get energized. This is a low impact workout with a total step of 1606 steps.   • A "No Squat" dance workout??? That punched my ticket for the day! I tacked this onto the 17-minute Plyometrics workout, so there's not a muscle group that hasn't gotten a good stretch today!

  • I try to get up earlier most days and do one of these workouts. They set me up for a calm day. Gets rid of all the extra energy I have and I’m much less likely to become irritable. Im 66 and still like to work at my job so with the every day stresses in the world these workouts change the whole day for me. Also a word to the wise, Turn off the news. It will help your stress level immensely.

  • These 10min sessions are great for after I've done a yoga class. I tend to build up a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck during yoga and if I don't loosen it after class it triggers migraines but these workouts stop that so thank you! :)

  • I’ve done this video several times before as well as some of your other short workouts, and it is truly amazing which you can get done in 10 minutes. That’s why people should not get discouraged. You can’t get out into your life, physical activity, think how many 10 minute segments you spend each day sitting in front of the television when you could be doing something to improve your health and make you feel good.

  • Love that you reminded us that short intervals add up -- a fact often overlooked by this "all-or-nothing-overachiever"! When your countdown clock was at the 4:30 mark and the move is the out/out backwards and forwards, I caught myself doing out/out in/in. Switched it and felt the difference between the two movements. Thanks for the switch up and for later having the alternate variation. You think of everything!

  • I just love your workouts. Depending on the amount of time and energy I have I can always find one that works for the occasion. Really appreciate the effort you put in to produce the different levels and times. And for having so many without words, sometimes after a long day I just want some fun music to workout to without someone trying to verbally push me on. My one suggestion would be to avoid mouthing words. Unfortunately I cannot read lips and I'm paying close attention to your legs and arms trying to follow along. Sometimes having you mouth words is very distracting and I feel like I have to stop and rewind the video to figure out what you were trying to say. But either way I will continue to watch your videos and look forward to new ones as they come out. Cheers!

    • I tend to mouth the words automatically and I often do write the words in at the same time, but I realize I don't always. I will make more of an effort to stop doing that:) I appreciate that you let me know it's distracting since feedback like yours is what helps me to improve the videos.

  • Just a question please. This says 1606 steps, even not kicking but stepping, I can't past 1100. How do you count please? I use 2 others of your videos with the same results, 2-300 steps less than your count. Love the videos though, thank you. x

    • When I do stretching at the end, I include those steps too. I can't remember if I included stretching in this one. I use an Apple watch for the step count...it could be that some watches calculate differently. If I mess up and have to restart the video, I write the step number down and then minus it from the final step count to ensure the number is accurate. Other than that, I'm not sure why the count might be different. My guess is if your step count is consistently lower than mine, our watches might calculate the steps differently.

  • If I put more effort into following your videos will I burn more calories than just doing the amount of steps? Been at it a month now and no weight loss😢

    • Hi! Everyone loses weight at a different rate so please don't be discouraged. It can take time, but it will happen. My suggestion is to do at least a total of 20-30 min of cardio, and definitely add on strength training workouts. Building muscle has a ton of benefits, as well as speeding up metabolism. Throughout the day, also try to move more, even if you add on 2-3 minutes of movement every hour in the day. Every little bit helps! I have a post on my blog about '2 minute movement challenge' which might help.

I do my best to help it, but mostly I only manage the lightest 15 minutes workout, another one of Jules. I used to do better last year, but then I never got back to that level again. And that was only a little better. Have a lovely day! Kudos for you for doing your exercises regularly at 72! I am looking up to you. 😀❤
