There are some surfers who cunningly avoid combat in the junctions, so as not to take risks. They arrive there a little earlier. A big maneuver but not in the eye of the junction. Medina, on the contrary, never runs away from it. I also love how he connects the maneuvers, without hitting the board or anything. It just flows from one to the other if the wave allows it.

@@bad0idea yeah dude 35 yrs. Double Js turns shat all over them although somewhat horizonta.. Look at his board for reference, it's doing SFA. And yes have judged at a high level. So not a 9 for, the best turn was the last which was good but hardly worthy of a 9

Really? Where cockroaches cry? Maybe in Australia? Because in Brasil they don't, actually they don't make any noise under the risk of coming smashed under our shoes. That 9.33 wasn't surfed well. Bog rail to dump rail. And the end looked perfunctory. I don't think you should be giving high scores just for wave selection. This debate has been going on for decades. For me, it simply looks like the judges should check their energy bills for the amount of gas they're putting up Gabe.
