Pink Floyd - Embryo

full band version was never released on any Pink Floyd studio album. A studio version did appear in 1970 on the rare multi-artist album Picnic - A Breath of Fresh Air. Its next appearance was in 1983 on Pink Floyd's own compilation Works
"" Saint Tropez 1970""
Lyrics-
All this love
Is all I am,
A ball is all I am.
I'm so new
Compared to you
And I am very small.
Warm glow,
Moon glow,
Always need a little more room.
Waiting here,
Seems like years,
Never see the light of day.
All around
I hear strange sounds
Come gurgling in my ear.
Red the light
And dark the night
I feel my dawn is near.
Warm glow,
Moon glow,
Always need a little more room.
Whisper low
Here I go,
I will see the sunshine show.

Dainese Aldo.

  • Our beloved guys are seriously good here!👍❤️ This is an amazing piece, it contains lots of musical ideas that were developed into other songs at some point of their musical career. I guess the song wasn't included in their original studio albums, because it has too many similar passages to other epic pieces such as Echoes. It even has some elements of the songs "Time" and "Money" (from the Dark Side album), as musical quotations. Still, it is a very nice piece as it is, a bit like a jam session sometimes. It has a very nice atmosphere.
