If you traveled 10,000 years into the future, what would planet Earth look like? Would most of its surface be covered in volcanoes? Or would it be frozen in ice? What if you traveled even further, to one million years in the future? Would all of the oceans have evaporated? Or would it have become one giant water world? Now, what about one billion years? Would there be any humans left? Or would they have settled in other parts of the galaxy?

Man, I really hope there's some form of continuity after death. Even if it's just limited to sight, I want to see parts of the universe and whatever is beyond it. I’m an astral projector and I frequently am able to leave my body at night when I sleep. Yes this is real, no drugs or drinking involved like some may think. I’ve been doing it since I was 8 years old. Yes, there is continuity when you die. And yes you can travel and see whatever you want, afterwards. I’ve been to places and seen things outside of this world that I can’t put into words, I wish I could. I’m not spiritual or religious, etc. it’s just an ability I was given. What's interesting about all of this, is the fact that this is what would happen if all natural processes were to continue without intervention. But, assuming we haven't died off or moved to another planet by that time, we would certainly have the technology to say, stop an asteroid from colliding, or letting our moon get too far away. We are talking millions of years and look at our technological growth in just 100. Again assuming we are still around at that time, I seriously doubt most of these things would be a threat to us anymore.
We will probably not even be around in a million years. We would probably have killed ourselves by that point.
