This dude is legit...if you want it there is no excuse
E rock there’s a different video here on KZhead where these kind of plates are made, but are encased in a tire. Much more reliable as an end result
@E rock I wouldn't say it's dangerous, if it cracks It's going to fall on the floor, not on your face.
@E rock maybe with used bicycle tires for more impact protection plus 28 days curing time submerged in water.
This dude made his own cement weights. Use what you got
Amazing ! just a little tips from an engineering standpoint is to not let the little rebar touch each other, make sure there is 1 cm (about half inch) space between them and also the center plastic to avoid having unfilled gaps between the concrete !
Nice, 1. Oil the bottom of the basin for easy removal preferably olive oil, or whatever cooking oil. 2. For people who are afraid of the dust, you can buy a concrete finishing polish to seal its surface
yeah the dusts can be dangerous, it might reach your eyes when doing such bench press or dambell press
How about Paint?
@@bangpalin8653 paint can peel over time
Great tips
cual es ese pulidor de concreto?
Why not ! As the whole world has over inflated the costs of the plates 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
@No No lol you are just an idiot if you are willing to get ripped off like a sucker
- Ruairi SHHH!!! Suckers like him is how we keep business running 😜
Yup. I made 180 lbs of weight for around $60.00. The cement was about $20.00, but had to buy the tools and materials. Love it! No more gym! No more waiting for equipment! No more people talking my ear off, slowing down my workout! No risk of Covid!
If the prices were inflated someone would come in and undercut everyone
@@bigd5080 did you cure it in water?
These guys are my heroes. Be creative, use your imagination. No excuses.
I'm so glad I found this channel. May God bless you!
Now he is making a equipment this man is goated
Respect bro🔥💪
For what?! Mixing cement? Cmon , people say "respect bro" to any stupid thing nowadays
@@saintdiegosd for making his own equipment by himself and not buing anything made. Also look his life and then comment.
@@rumers100 boring
You respect this? Lmao
@@saintdiegosd troll much
I like how it just go straight to the point
This is badass I have got to give this a try! If I’m ever able to do this I’ll make sure to record the process and give you a shoutout not that you really need it!
Have you done it? Can we have an update?
@@ganbro-hq3gy 😂😂😂😂
They look great! I'd be finally able to bench with 3 plates on each side.
The World: in lockdown Rom GD tutorials: stonks ↗️↗️↗️↗️
Felt really satisfied when he smoothed it over and was perfect 👌 Think Lockdown taking its toll on me 😂
Best DIY plates I've seen so far
I've been following you since you had 2.4k subscribers and now you have 260k. Great job man! Happy for you
Very helpful for those who want to build their own equipment, great job!
Love it bro, I'm gonna do some. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for this inspiration man. 😊👍🏻 It's a cheap way to get this nice weights.
I work at a fab shop and they allow me to take home scrap metal for 5 cents a pound and that's what I use as weights. These just look really smooth!!
This is the first time i saw a video started without intro 😁👍🏻
You are a real legend. Creativity reloaded. You just showed Corona lockdown a middle finger
Respect bro for all urs efforts to showcase ur talent. 💥💥💥
This made my heart really happy! Screw the primadonna gym crowd. If you want to build muscle it's ultimately going to come down to two things: Gravity, and heavy stuff! Big respect for skipping the appetizer and getting straight to the meat!
Saved soooo much money 💰. Smart 🤙🏽props.
I did with pro finish concrete and it worked perfectly
Cool level is way over 9000. I however, lack the patience needed to literally BUILD my own workout equipment.
What, 9000!?!?
@@Spacely72 yes
if you want to develop patience, just find the most infuriating thing that you hate doing but you need to be done, (in my case, ironing my clothes) and then do it, for like 10 mins, then 20 mins, the 30 mins. Your patience will be stronger guaranteed. Or listen you your mother in law if your married. Guaranteed to test your patience.
No excuses
Exactly what I think work hard to achieve your goals
Yep
I've watched a lot of these videos just to see the different ideas people come up with. I have to say, good job.
Cool, thanks!
Awesome brother Parabéns irmão seus vídeos são enpresionates e motivadores
Awesome bro but when you do bench press don't do suicide grip.
Yeah hahahahahhaha holy frivk
It’s not bad to use if you know what you’re doing...
The weight is just around 30 kg assuming the bar isn't even around 20 kg. So he won't get hurt on it, I think
no problem with that.if it's comportable with him.
Defend on weight. If the weight not over 80kg. No problem with that grip.
Weight is weight. Awesome job! 👏👏
for the rebar you really dont have to massage it into the cement because you're already adding more cement on top of it, and massaging it will make it sink faster
I live in the US, and I am very poor. I appreciate these videos.
Very helpful in the current situation
Insanely brilliant 💪✌🏼
Damn the home gym is too dope. Amazing work man 💪💪
Essa anilia é di 15 quantos kilos 😱 ? essa básica é uma fôrma monstra
He built his own gym that is dedication and a step closer to hard earned gains
Demn , mad respect bro that is genius
That is awesome bro! Keep it up.
This is helpful during the lockdown. Thanks

This is so amazing bro.... Diy made easy. 👍👍👍💪💪💪
If you swapped the rebars for more fine steel mesh I think you could actually make pretty durable plates! Also rubberise it so if it cracks the weights will still remain inside the plate
How do you DIY rubberize it? Got any easy resources / tutorials / tips ?
@@cougies i was thinking of using layers of grip tape around the barbell plates...like the ones u use on hockey stick or racket
straight to the point. nice.
Nice job brother
You guys are genius
Wow, best DIY ever!!!!😄
This plus used bicycle tires will be great for impact protection .
Ha! Love it. Great setup with all the hand weights dude. Good job.

What matters is that it weighs and it's good for resistance training. Also no rust, so it's good for outdoor training also.
Amazing
BRILLIANT MATE!!
Good job man. Inspiration
Holy shit. This guy literally MADE a full gym.... he deserves to be JACKED
But the cemet shop is closed😭.

use ur own cement
Good finishing
Very inspiring!
Brilliant! 💪🏽💪🏽
You is perfect... Go strong💪💪
Nice! Some protective rings or so, preventing the weights to break would be nice too
They look good !
The rocks are in the concrete, although for this application I'd go with something smaller than that. Better still, use fiberglass for the aggregate to give it more strength. There are also plasticizer additives that could help the plates resist impacts.
Maybe after quarantine. For now the simplest method will do. 😂😂
Concrete makes a lot of fine dusts which can lead to severe respiratory damages. Needs to be coated to prevent that.
Maybe a few coats of paint?
I'm planning to wrap mine in duct tape. That should do the trick
What sort of coating would you use?
Yo this is dope 🔥👍
Good job bro 🤙🏻🔥
Sooo resourceful. quite a skill u have there.
Love your content ❤
Incredible!!!
No excuses !! 👍👍
You could even coat the perimeter of the plates with Rubber to make them look extra legit 👌👌👌 and safer for the floors.
Nice work bro
Excellent skill
great work and amazing creativity. one question, how are the barbell stops made?
This is amazing
Amazing bro.. perfec
Dang, that was great !!
Awesome god bless u
Muito bom seu trabalho
Good job bro.
Legend💪
I wish I could support you, man.
I like it man!🙌 Make sure to grip the barbell with your thumbs as well💪
Great video. Ps: Love the doggos in the background!
Thanks
Genial... excelente idea!!! Sobre todo para aca... en Argentina las pesas estan carisisimas😊
Very clever.
Salute bro!😇
Very good and excellent job brother 👍👌
Very good job bro
Very innovative
that was clean
Awsome! Got an entire gym at the house with the price of some super cheap concrete
Three years later bro? 😂😂😂
Very very interesting 👏👏👏
Cool barbell....
I would just add some small stones in the mixture and form a matrix to improve the structural rigidity! But nice work, self reliance is the best!
Great 👌
Effort also has value. At this rate find used plates or discontinued plates. I got old rouge bumpers for much less! And will last 100x longer than concrete. But pretty cool idea.
If you mixed in fiberglass insulation it would help keep the edges from chipping out.
Hi ! Nice video ! Can I know where stones are? Or how did you break it please ?
Holaa , muy buen video pero tengo una duda , que haces para que no se te pegue al barreño , por qué a mí se me queda pegado y le tengo que romper entero
