  • You are a Man after My own Heart. I commend you on your Life of self sufficiency and the very humble types of food that you prepare. I particularly enjoy preparing dishes that most would refer to as Peasant Food from locally sourced Farmers. Growing up in the deep South in America, I prefer still cooking on an open fire and my wood fired stove.   • This is how I learned to cook. My dada would give me easy things to do in the kitchen as a little kid and watch him later when Im done with the task. As I grew to a teen I ask him about the ingredients and he'll teach me the easiest way to cook the dish. And now as an adult, I can now cook and sometimes joins him on making a dish or two. I bet the little girl would be a good cook like her dada too!

  • Friend, I am from a little village in France called Guérande where we harvest salt. Cooking fish in salt is the most traditional way of cooking it here. Next time try the very same recipe but without wrapping the fish in paper, the skin comes away with the salt. I promise you it will be much better. Nice recipe though.

    • @@okeyokeke4453 Yes, you lay the fish on a bed of salt, you cover it with more salt and you can put a few drops of water on it. No salt in the belly. After cooking the salt will have formed a crust and after breaking it, the skin will be removed easily. The fish won't be salty.

  • I’ve had red fish cooked this way in the Carribean. I ate it with a little salt and olive oil drizzled on it. It was delicious!

  • Man I don’t know how you manage to keep the birds off your cherries! As soon as they are just barely pink on my trees I have birds and squirrels and allsorts of stuff attack them! Two years I have hardly managed to take a cherry off my own tree! 😂 Beautiful daughter. Golden moments for her and you. ❤️🏆
