Very cool to hear that the wolf variants were being worked on separately from the armadillo and the timing just happened to work out that they came together. That means that if the crab or penguin won, we likely still would've seen the new wolf variants introduced at another point down the road.
On the topic of wolf anatomy : It's not reverse knees. They have knees; they are just really high and kind of inside the skin in the waist area. Try this yourself. Put yourself on your toes, bend your legs and that makes a 1 to 1 comparison to a wolf, cat or armadillo leg. That "reverse knee" is just the heel of the quadrupedal subject !

@lukasbartusek2708 sheep spawning with 5 plane wool color is nothing compared to the wolves. What they did with the wolves is what could have also been done to sheep, pigs, chickens, and cows. In other words, adding variants that spawn under some requirements that aren't just recolors. Minecraft Earth had all of that before it was shut down due to 2020. If you want some exemples. Let a pink pig wobble into bucketable, luiqid mud, and it will become muddy with a tulip on top of its head that you can shear off. You can also let that muddy pig dry. If that's not your thing, then maybe a midnight chicken will ! If not, then try the fancy chicken. They spawn under various requirements, mostly biomes. That's what they did with the wolves and should do the same with those animals.

At least we have another use for spider eyes, but we really need the ability to trade stuff like spider eyes, sugar, and other mob drops that tend to pile up. Mojang should add the ability to craft sugar blocks, then they can add giant ants!

Hey Mojeng, can you make a new copper bolt with breeze rod. So players can have two copper bolt, 1 yellow and 1 blue. The blue copper bolt can also works with Redstone.

The trial chambers with shaders would look insane.
Dogs don't have reverse knees, as the video points out. What looks like knees on their back legs is actually their heels, while the thing resembling and acting like a knee is slightly above, and pointing frontward. And in the front legs, I'd say that the things that do look like reversed knees are actually their elbows, and below them, close to the paws, are their wrists.

I really liked the insights on how developing Minecraft works internally. I think mojang would really benefit of a podcast/smp series /devlog where they just talk about how well the development is going.
Shulkers are literally the exact size of a full minrcraft block, what are yall talking about including Slimes and Magma Cubes (And even the Gaurdian and Elder Gaurdian)? Those guys both stretch, therefore not being always cubes anymore, Shulkers don't stretch, they just separate their shell. And the Guardians and Elder Gaurdians aren't even full cubes, because they're slightly rounder, plus, they have tails.

@@outregis Actually tracking down every Tropical Fish variant sounds way harder. With The Wolves it may take forever to do. But it's consistent and not randomly generated like the fish. All aspects of the process can be automated.

@@plumfadoodle4908 the difference is that there are around 2,700 unique fish, yes they are randomized. However, there are 5,713,438 different dyes for leather alone. Times that by the 16 collars and 9 wolf variations, you would need 822,735,072 different wolves to equate every possible outcome.
It would be interesting if they added some kind of improvements, such as if you put such a resource it increases resistance but reduces speed. And they would give a new use to a certain table.
