While a millionaire might be lucky enough to own a $10 million private plane, a billionaire could own a $400 million private jet-- like the Boeing 747-8i business jet. While a millionaire might have a 7-figure mansion, a billionaire probably owns a 9-figure estate-- like Jeff Bezos and his Warner Estate. And though a millionaire could splurge on a classic motor yacht, a billionaire could own something like the Eclipse superyacht for more than $1 billion.
But both millionaires and billionaires have to maintain their luxurious lifestyle. What does owning an estate really cost every day? What about owning luxury vehicles like a Rolls-Royce Ghost, Aston Martin Valhalla, or a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO? The wealthy also have to think about things like security costs-- Mark Zuckerberg spends over $8 million a year for his. And we know the world’s rich are taking amazing vacations every year to private islands in Fiji and even $200,000, 24-hour trips to places like Antarctica. I'm a millionaire myself, and the most expensive thing I own outside my house is a $150,000 car. It's not a supercar. My family's daily living expenses are only about $100 per day, or $150 if we also count the cost for holiday and leasure activities. This video is unbelievable.

even as a millionaire I would not live like these people. Give me that nice home with 100 acres in the middle of nowhere for $1 million and I would be happy with that. A nice pickup truck, don't need a lambo.... fly first class if I want to go anywhere, not worth spending millions on a plane. Traveling I would enjoy finding deals at resorts for $200 a night, not thousands. This is also why a lot of millionaires go broke too, they can't control the spending.

My parents were millionaires and we lived like we made nothing...of course we were never in danger of not being fed housed clothed and taken care of...but we had very little luxury items and they made me get a fucking fast food job to pay for my own gas in hs...they did but me a nice car at age 16 but it wasn't something crazy, it was a new Honda crv, modest and simple Maybe this is why they were millionaires

For everyone happiness have a different meaning and they will each define it differently. The way I look at happiness is not with what you have but that which you could be happy with and be satisfied with because achieving satisfaction is way harder then thinking money or anything else will give you satisfaction and happiness.

i'll never fully understand why they are buying luxurious clothes, shoes etc when you can get quality stuff with far less money. i'll also never understand the need for owning one or more huge mansions. you need to hire people to clean and maintain the place. is there even privacy? the place is so big, you don't need to go out for a walk, going from your living room to your bedroom is already a good workout. does it even feel like a home when its that HUGE? after living in it for a while, you get used to your fancy mansion, it looks the same every day, static, predictable, it becomes something you just see every day, you take it for granted. does it get boring? do these excesses make you continuously happy? i guess when you are that rich, you arent just gonna let that cash sit under your mattress, you just gotta blow it somewhere, anywhere
