Anyone who watched the serie A when ronaldo was playing know how they "managed him".He was fouled like nobody,with double personal defenders behind him. and still didnt had the need to throw himself to the ground and cry like some little ronaldo wannabe. He had 2-3 career ending injuries, comes back and keeps breaking records eventhough he was at 80% of his capacity... That to me is scary and unmatchable if you compare to others! actually ... there was one defender who contained him! I have followed ROnaldo's career since 97 and I remember an interview with him by channel 4's football italia, where he explained that he as a 21 year could not get away from a 41 year defender by the name of pietro veirchwood. I saw that game it was really funny - but no one is better than ronaldo, he belongs in a different time like the 80s or something along with cruiff, zico, muller and those legends!

actually ... there was one defender who contained him! I have followed ROnaldo's career since 97 and I remember an interview with him by channel 4's football italia, where he explained that he as a 21 year could not get away from a 41 year defender by the name of pietro veirchwood. I saw that game it was really funny - but no one is better than ronaldo, he belongs in a different time like the 80s or something along with cruiff, zico, muller and those legends!
