People say he should've maintained discipline and continued his career. But I think he made his choices and that's the way to go. He realized theres more to life than football. It's not like the talent got wasted, since we saw what he could do. He's not a wasted talent but someone who wanted to live by his choices. The greatest football player ever no doubt!
In a way, the carefree way he lived his life was also mirrored in his playing style inside the game, he'd just have fun with it and try fun stuff that most players wouldn't have confidence to pull because they think they'd look stupid if they failed. He's one of the players I enjoyed watching the most because it didn't mattered the score or the stakes, he always made the game fun as fuck

Unlike any other player I've seen, he just seemed to instictively know how to use any part of his body control the ball, and no other players have ever attempted half of these. The crossbar rebounds were amazing. Maybe there were 1 or 2 elements of bad sportsmanship with keepers but they were all fair in a way.
Crossbar video isn't real. The creativity and intelligence is though. The type of guy to expose the referee for knowing less about the game than him. Good thing the refs didn't let him get away with harassing the keeper in the scenes in the video though, this already gave enough inspiration to kids kicking goalkeepers and fouling them. But it's still done to this day. One of the first players to press the GK.
