To let everyone know, the lobster died peacefully. They wouldn’t of felt this because they were asleep. Putting lobster in ice makes them sleep.
@scartstar Жыл бұрын
Yeah. Was happy to see this. Ive seen some of these type of videos where they dont ice the animal or do a neural spike before beginning to butcher it, and its pretty repulsive to watch. Theres no reason to butcher any animal alive, even if it is something as simple as a lobster.
@childofcascadia27 күн бұрын
but i imagine the pain would wake it up or something huh? this is interesting
@pineapple2.04125 күн бұрын
@pineapple2.041 Nope. They are cold blooded creatures. When they get placed in ice, their body becomes the temperature of the ice. Because they are cold blooded everything in their body slows down, including their neural ganglia (their version of a brain) and nerve impulses. It doesnt seem to hurt them as they dont try and flee it (they will attempt to flee injury or heat though). Their bodies dont seem to register slowly increasing extreme cold as painful. Warm blooded creatures like a human arent quite the same because our bodies will fight to keep us warm so we arent as temperature suceptible and we also find cold painful. But there is still some aspects to it, like if your fingers lose some sensation when its really cold, or if you ice a muscle injury to reduce pain. As long as the preparer works quickly and either places the lobster in ice long enough to kill it or severs the neural ganglia when it is "asleep", it will not feel it.
@childofcascadia25 күн бұрын

Always remember time is short. We must repent of our sins and believe on The Lord Yahusha (Jesus). We must believe on Yahusha (Jesus). In Hebrew, the word "believe" means to "trust and obey" so we must trust and obey Yahusha (Jesus) Faith saves you. TRUE faith will produce obedience. If we have genuine faith, we will obey God's Law (Torah). We will repent when we stumble and trust in The Lord Yahusha. Grace is what allows us to be the men and women God called us to be. It allows us to obey through His Holy Spirit. 🙂

Seems there are a lot of people having strong sense of justice. You might feel sorry for this, but we can't blame them loudly. We also harm other species every day in some way, which contributes to extinction. So, don't think such a thing as your country is better than Japan just because of this. For other species, we are all the same harmful and dangerous creatures.

After We finished eating Grilled Tiger Shrimp, later about 4hrs the fire was very low and the lobster was done. I took some clippers and cut from behind the head down the middle of the tail and it was perfect. I cut it in 4 portions because we were 4.

To let everyone know, the lobster died peacefully. They wouldn’t of felt this because they were asleep. Putting lobster in ice makes them sleep.
Yeah. Was happy to see this. Ive seen some of these type of videos where they dont ice the animal or do a neural spike before beginning to butcher it, and its pretty repulsive to watch. Theres no reason to butcher any animal alive, even if it is something as simple as a lobster.
but i imagine the pain would wake it up or something huh? this is interesting
I would be nervous eating anything with such flashy colours... I’d be convinced those colours were a warning to *not* eat it because it must be poisonous...
Viva Frei that's the point of the colours, it's called mimicry camouflage
Julian Destea Very good point. But I am absolutely neurotic! LOL
that rule applies to terrestrial animals only, in the sea is totally different, flashy colours does not mean warning in the sea :)
But rather a way to mimic distasteful flavors, should have clarified that before, thx for the correction tho
Fabian Palma So… Flashy colours in the sea = delicious? :-)
I think it’s interesting how we as humans find spiders naturally scary (most of us), but this freaky sea roach with billions of legs and claws is something we enjoy eating
That's cause there isn't enough meat on them spiders. Notice we eat just about anything as long as the effort to reward ratio is decent. If it's not worth eating, we tend to fear it's abilities and traits.
I don't know, maybe because spiders are not edible and this crayfish is.

Its because theres more normal red and blue and brown lobsters then their are huge and/or multi colored lobsters. In the end its still so much gluttony and a waste of life.
@@MariaLopez-ly4pu gluttony...pretty hard to get fat from consuming seafood
Many people commented to leave the lobster in the ocean or keep it as pet etc etc only because it is beautiful n hv pretty colours. Well, is that means normal looking Lobsters deserves to b food since they dont hv pretty colours like this one
I know what you mean, but this rare Lobster should've been put in an aquarium at least so that people can admire it's beauty, I hate it when people do this, I don't like to watch things die I just saw a video with a rainbow Lobster and I wanted to know more. This may have been the last of it's kind, you don't know this Lobster might've been a long lost ancestor to the regular Lobsters that we see, so think about it as a Dinosaur. They just killed it for nothing.
@@adrianwilmot2579 there are plenty of Rainbow lobsters though...

WOW bravo magnifique 👍👏
I bought a lobster back in September just that size in Thailand Pattaya for 120 USD and just set over the grill and put the lid on it just whole with out cutting it or anything. After We finished eating Grilled Tiger Shrimp, later about 4hrs the fire was very low and the lobster was done. I took some clippers and cut from behind the head down the middle of the tail and it was perfect. I cut it in 4 portions because we were 4.

I have $600 to buy any street food I want. That's how.
This is true art!
the thing about lobsters tho is the bigger they are, the tougher the meat
Its humane to freeze them it just puts them into a deep sleep pretty quickly my grandad always told me to do that to fish that were dying because flushing them they still suffer as they can still survive in the water
I heard some restaurants will get them drunk before throwing them into a pot or delivering the final blow with the knife. But the ice technique is interesting. I hadn't even heard of it before
@@redvalentinos1933 it’s one of the oldest methods used, I’ve never ever heard of people getting them drunk… that sounds more like bullshit lol.
You should cock it quicky once get out of water.. because they make poison and you can't eat later their bodies produce bacteria..so the best is get out of water and cock no froze
@@Sam-eo9vk that’s why you put them to sleep, you don’t kill them freezing them. They pretty much hibernate
I don't do lobsters, heck, I'm hundreds of kilometres from any sea, but at the lake when we catch fish we just hit their head with a knife and that's just it.

I think.of eating them as payback to their land faring cousins.
I think they are in fact classified under the same phylum of the animal kingdom. Divers call them bugs.
